They don't have the rights to poke at anything. I loved halo when halo was at it's peak. Its just shitty that people are so fucking sour that they have to go on a talk show to express their feelings about having a bad community. But they go off about telling their community to just go do things. Well starting up a talk show to be sour isn't really the best thing to do if you want a good community. It's just funny because any time I go on halo its a bunch of trash talking children, and now I understand where they get it from. The "pro" scene and the hardcore fans, no wonder the rest of their scene is stuck in a rut because they're ALL like this and its just a joke. I honestly wish halo had higher stature its just sad that it doesn't because of childish things such as that video.
No problem. I don't really mind that the SC-scene is more about the actual gameplay, than what shoes the players wear or if they went fishing over the weekend.

Please add this to the OP. Context is important. They're not lying when they say that they don't want to bash the Starcraft 2 community, but only want to get Halo motivated. They don't hate Starcraft (or its fans).
I don't actually care about other games. This means that i don't support other games but I don't bash them either. For Esports all I care is StarCraft.
I think not only should we let Halo die, but we should encourage it's death and replace it with a good FPS game like CS or Quake.
Can you imagine the dominance MLG will have over other eSports events with a line-up of Starcraft 2, League of Legends, Quake Live, CS:GO? A man can dream.....

If you watch the apology, he mentions Destiny shitting on Halo comparing elementary --> college and Halo ---> SC2. We don't sit there yelling at Destiny for it, and if Halo bit back like the community did here we'd laugh at Halo and say that they were overreacting.

Yeah, they bring on actual Halo Reach pros to talk about basically the "State of Halo". It's worth a listen if you want to give Halo a shot. Next season should be much better if it is there.

I just wanted to say that I'm extremely happy that a majority of you understand that the video where we poked fun at SC2 was not serious. I just wanted to say that for myself and many of the staff I work with on these shows, we all either play, watch or love StarCraft in some sense or another!

I realise that the halo community feel like we ran them over with MLG. However, our game being more competitive, hence players putting more time into it isn't bad for it as an e-sport.

I dont understand why this is such a problem, also they having more class? Imo the halo community and FPS communities in general have a lot less class (aside from q3) because they're audience is in general less mature than the starcraft community. And yonger communities are more immature.

I mean they talked about being absolutely nerdy and not doing anything else than playing SCII...does he rly want to tell us that "fishing" as a hobby outside of the game makes someone not-nerdy? I mean WTF they are just talking completely trash imo. By the way, he said that you have to invest so much time to play on a competetive level...which is a sign of how good a game is, as long as it doesn't involve just having to invest time, coz of stupid leveling or sth like this as we can find it in WoW.
