(of course I know they're joking and at least one of them is clearly drunk, but it's seriously not even a little bit funny)

They clearly said it was to get their community to feel passionate about something. Making fun of us is like saying "we're better then these guys, come on!" which is what they were going for. Personally im not offended at all and can clearly see what they're trying to do for their own game, I dont mind it much at all seeing how it was all in fun.

Style, i agree that a lot of people just don't have personality. And i laughed at the part where these guys are complaining that sc2 players don't do anything except training. Bro, in this game you don't need to just press 4 buttons, you need to think at 20 things at the same time. This is why it takes a lot of time to master it. These guys don't have any clue on what they are talking about.

If you haven't ever tried competitive halo, you don't really know what it's like. Actually, a lot of people have just played a match or two of one of the standard playlists, without realizing that competitive halo is nothing like it. It's like a new player playing a match of monobattles, and then bashing starcraft for being bad. As for the hosts, Ghandhi (the guy on the left), if an ex-pro. During his playing career, he was known for his funny thrash talk. The other two are also ex pros, but not that we'll known. Finally for someone who has never followed Halo, I recommend you watch this:

How do you guys react to a video like this, what does it mean to you, what would you like to see done? I honestly don't care what anyone from the halo community says. I understand that they were trying to fuel their own community but really..? Why take any shots at another community? Especially one that is far superior than theirs one that theirs should strive to become. I mean I look at the actual professional scene for ANYTHING hockey, football, soccer, ect, all those players don't have any extra time to do much outside their sport they're always on the road they're always thinking about how they can improve and thrive in their own scene, I'm terribly sorry that halo only has 1 major tournament scene and that only goes for the 8 or 9 events per year, and I'm terribly sorry that your community even at the highest level don't play for 12 hours a day to become the best in the scene. I'm also VERY VERY sad that the halo competitive scene is quite lazy, as stated by them they need a fucking coach behind them to call out timings for weapons and ect, I don't see that in quake, a game that is quite similar if you think about it. I'm sorry a stronger longer lasting community came in and took the spotlight from the Halo scene but unfortunately our community deserves it more and halo's time is coming to a close. Maybe, just maybe if the console scene was smart and didn't think that newer means better, MAYBE your scene would've thrived a lot better by staying with halo 2 instead of ditching it the second a newer "better" version came out, the same goes for the COD scene, everyone knows that COD4 and MW2 were superior games to the rest but EVERYONE jump shipped and left the gems to rot. There are so many communities that deserve the spot that Halo has in MLG right now far more than halo does. Halo is a competitive console shooter with a low skill cap and players who want the most without putting much in. Sadly to say if MLG died tonight, Halo would be a community that died with it, starcraft wouldn't. I just don't see the need to bash on ANY community specially if yours is slacking, bashing on someones community doesn't get people excited for your game, as a matter of fact I'm less inclined to watch and support halo a game I ALSO grew up with just because of the simple fact that the halo community is butt hurt when a game that is more deserving and a community that is more enthusiastic about their game takes the spotlight. What happens when MLG picks up CS:GO and any one of the MOBA games and they draw crowds that are 2 to 3 times bigger than the Halo crowed? TL;DR get rid of the 12 year olds in your game, make your pro's have to play 10 hours a day and be unstylish, get rid of the standard halo "coaches" because they honestly don't do fuck all for the competitive scene, and lose the we were here first so we deserve it more attitude. If this community was opposite and the sc2 community was where the halo community is at we wouldn't even have that bottom position. Appreciate what MLG did for Halo AKA created its competitive scene, and try and fucking improve on it instead of bashing another community, that can actually sustain itself outside of MLG. Shitting on someone else's community doesn't do anything but boost your ego and thats pretty fucking arrogant especially since you're on the bottom of the food chain. Who cares who is more stylish? We're all fucking nerds as you said, nerds aren't stylish, I'm glad that a lot of your pro's can afford to have a life outside of halo, but thats why you're on the fucking bottom. No one takes the game as serious as a career even if there isn't the money to have a career off of it, THAT IS WHERE YOUR GAME SLACKS THAT IS WHERE YOUR COMMUNITY IS BROKEN. If one player played for 10 hours a day every day and got everything perfect or close to perfect it would push the skill cap up, once that happens everyone has to get better and the only way they can do that is play for 10 hours a day, once you have a pro scene playing for 10 hours a day every day you can go look for SERIOUS fucking coaches and serious teams that will sponsor you, house you, and feed you. THEY WILL GIVE YOU A PROFESSION. But that's ok if you want to look "stylish" and get shitfaced every night and have a heavy social life outside of your game then 2nd place is where you're going to stay until some other community does exactly what I just said. I would've thought a group with 22 or however many years worth of gaming would understand that but I suppose all 22 years are spent on a console and you guys have never had any of that shit. :/

![]() Where's MasterChiefs custom Nikes yo? Oh right I forgot, he can't wear Nikes because he's too busy prancing around in his green metallic onesie. Probrem? Come at me Halo Community. Someone fly me to MLG and I'll win a rap battle too. Only 7k, I heard the Starcraft community likes to give money away. I'll even pretend to be a girl if needs be.

They were joking around. If you don't care what they have to say, then why are you typing up a storm about it? They only took a little poke at style. They praised the SC2 community throughout the rest of the video.
