If more than 20 people register, the last ones to sign up will share computers. I encourage early registrations, as it will help estimate the number of people. If there are significantly more participants, we will rent more computers 😉

ENTRY FEE:
The entry fee will range from ~50 to 150 PLN.
The cost of one workstation for Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 20:00 is 150 PLN.
We are trying to raise 3000 PLN through a crowdfunding campaign so that entry will be free at least from 12:00 to 20:00.

Venue Conditions:
We have reserved 20 gaming computers – all in one room, which will be exclusively ours.

Two TVs and sofas for watching matches

The venue doesn’t have its own kitchen or bar – so they need to earn money from computer rentals. They only sell energy drinks and snacks, but I’ve discussed with them and you can freely order food and bring your own drinks (including alcohol). This is actually a plus because everyone can order whatever they want and drink at market prices, not bar prices. There is a Pizza Hut in the same building, and they have an agreement to deliver pizza to computers, plus they have a deal with some Smash Burgers.

4 groups, x players each, TOP2 advances to WB, top3 to LB
WB: Bo3, Bo5 from semifinals
LB: Bo3, Bo5 from semifinals

Due to the large number of registered players, I am negotiating with the venue to rent out the entire place for the tournament (12:00-20:00), which would give us 30 computers. However, I still don’t know how much it will increase the cost – I will keep you updated once they respond. Alternatively, we can consider renting these 20 computers on Saturday until midnight. I will keep you posted.

Additionally, we have 1000 PLN for prizes from KJStreamingchannel.

LAN Event This Weekend – Organizational Post
VENUE & ENTRY FEES:
First off – unfortunately, we will only have the original 20 computers available. The venue "didn’t notice" that they had reservations for the other two rooms. It’s too late to find a new venue since everyone has already been informed. We’ll manage.

The venue rental is 3000 PLN for two days (12:00 – 20:00 each day). Since we have fewer computers, we may need a few extra hours – at least on Saturday.

Currently, we have 4570 PLN in the community fund + 500 PLN from Mazur. We’re planning to run three LANs this year – two Open events (Kraków & Warsaw) and one small-scale event for the TOP8 players with minimal costs. However, we might still receive more donations before the next LANs, and there are some contributions specifically from Kraków-based players or people interested in this event alone. Because of this, I believe it’s reasonable to use 3000 PLN from the current funds to cover this LAN’s venue rental.

The entry fee will be 75 PLN per player. As agreed, players who contributed to the community fund and signed up don’t need to pay the fee. We have 30 registered players, 11 of whom donated, meaning 19 players will pay the entry fee.
This should give us 1425 PLN, which will go towards any extra hours needed, and any leftover amount will be added to the fund for future LANs.

Spectators can enter for free. We’ll have a viewing area with two TVs and a couple of couches where people can watch the matches.

The venue is open 24/7, so anyone can arrive earlier. I’ll be there from ~10:00 to set up the stream and prep everything.

Players can bring their own laptop and use it instead of a rented PC.
Monitor sizes: 27" & 24.5"

What We Need:
Anyone who can bring a camera / multiple cameras
Old smartphones with working cameras, WiFi, browser + car windshield mounts & chargers – we’ll use them for extra viewing angles of the audience & venue
Good quality headsets with microphones (we need 2x)
Would be great if you could take photos actively
Anyone interested in doing interviews is welcome!
