I'm just saying that if they want NASL to become a first class tournament, they need first class casters. I'm personally amazed that NASL are just choosing to ignore the issue of Gretorp. When such a big part of their audience have continually expressed their dislike of his casting for so long, they still choose to do nothing about it. With the GSL, Gom recognized that not everyone would like the Code A casters so they went with a rotating cast to try other casters out. At this point, many people have expressed that the NASL has become almost a chore to get through now, and Gretorp is part of that issue (among several others). It's been 6 weeks of a lot of the same problems. I don't see why it's taking so long to try out another caster that's not Gretorp a shot.

like the JP guy. his knowledge about strategy is nonexistent or unrelated to the situations he talks about. i love how JP just changed the subject when gretorp corrected him multiple times making him look stupid every time he said something unrelated or just wrong. he totally ignored gretorps corrections by changing the subject. he can cast games for his own channel or w/e but don't let JP ruin other peoples tournaments like the nasl. im pretty sure JP knew he inst a sufficient caster and by going on the game to cast nasl was very inconsiderate by him. he is like unteaching or harming the community that actually wants to learn to play better.

That hurts my heart so much. It's like seeing a puppy on the side of the road with no home, your soul just breaks in two. You can't capitalize a word beginning a sentence? You're hurting my heart, blahblahblah. I'd love it if there was a kind of schedule of when matches were broadcasted, sometimes I only care about a single match out of all five, and Nasl is already putting out an insane amount of matches to keep up with, it's a large commitment watching two hours every cast for that one match you're interested in. Sort of like how Sotg. Does it.

I don't see why NASL should be any different. The complaints aren't from a big part of the audience. What there's like 20-30 of you guys out of ten of thousands complaining.

While NASL is ahead of other tournys when it comes to maps...there needs to be more creativity here. It frankly doesn't make sense to only feature maps that are balanced for all three races when only two races play at once. For example...if we are seeing a toss vs terain game there needs to be a separate mapset for those guys because this allows us to see cliffs and corridors again which are fun to watch but apparently imbalanced for zerg players. Zerg balance maps are boring because they have such big chokes, few cliffs and are so wide open. Map options for mirror matchups can be EXTREMELY creative because balance isn't an issue. How fun would it be to see a Z vs Z with zerglings running around in gorges, infestors doing cliff attacks and spines attacking from the high ground. Or how about an island map that blink stalkers could jump around on? No more colossi! We could also see massive air vs air battles which would be fun to watch. Suggestion #2: Make Husky a full time caster...he already lives in LA, is extremely underrated, is not boring and with 474,721 youtube subscribers, Husky could promote and attract viewers to NASL like no other. If nothing else it would be a great business decision. Suggestion #3: NASL needs to be more welcoming to new players. New players = new ideas and infuse exciting new strategies into tournaments (look at TSL3) and keep excitement up while strategic inbreeding down. Suggestion #4: Bring on the team games! While many posters are loath to admit this...team games (especially 4v4's) are way more entertaining than 1v1's. You just see more diverse play styles and more creativity. With good map design, no THEY ARE NOT all rush games. For starters team players do defensive rush builds anyways so this is somewhat mitigated. As long as the players share the same base area, you dramatically reduce the chances for rushes. Suggestion #5: More free previews! Either like the first games...and/or as low res (kind of like gom)...you need bait before you can reel in the fish with the hook.

Having to practice on 20 different maps for different matchups in different tournaments is not a desirable situation for both the players and subsequently the game quality. 2. He could be a guest caster, this would be okay. 3. They have an open qualifier where I believe top 8 make the next season of NASL, also top players can execute most strategies at a high level, so your concept of "strategical inbreeding" is laughable. 4. NASL is a 1v1 tournament, a separate teamgame tournament could exist but it probably would be way less popular.

Like Incontrol said, it's just a very vocal minority who dislikes Gretorp. I'd say that the NASL is doing a lot of things right judging by how much more popular their league has gotten. In the first few weeks they had trouble breaking 6000 viewers, but now they're averaging about 15k viewers per show.

Replays, lower quality VODs, or something else to accommodate the lower internet speed users would make this great thing even better.

With the current maps...players practice them a zillion times and execute standard timing pushes because they know what they can get away with defensively and what timings are needed. With unknowns (perhaps even surprise maps which could be fun) we'll actually get to see players play instead of these boring teir 1.5 timing pushes the coaches have drilled into them.1. It's too much like Gom...the old guys get too much of an advantage with a guaranteed 34. And yes, strategic inbreeding is an issue...each player has separate styles and strategies so the more diverse the players, the more diverse the game play. When GOM had their open season we saw all sorts of players get chances that we didn't see once GOM went to their S/A/qualifier format. The more equitable the competition for newcomers the better.4. NASL is a 1v1 tournament, a separate teamgame tournament could exist but it probably would be way less popular. Meh...you would be wrong. I think fans would welcome it over say the seeing the same stupid MM push vs toss on xel-naga...or a counter colossi timing push against terrain for the 10 zillionth time. Things like medic/marine/tank timing 12 minute pushes against zerg or muta/ling/baneling vs terrain has just happened so many times (especially on that horrible map Xel-naga which even TLO thinks is boring) that SC2 is losing its excitement. There ALWAYS have been more creative play styles and unit compositions in team games and if you don't think then you haven't been watching the right games. You don't see muta/ling/baneling or stalker/colossi that much in team games and it is wonderful (even marine/marauder doesn't happen as often).
