Yeah i made a blue version too but i stayed with the regular background because i like how see through the broadcast box looks like. Its a good version for those that dont like as much seethroughness though. Also, Existor idk if you would need this, but for anyone who wants to make their own background here is a nice starter kit of what I used. BackgroundStarterKitJust open it in photoshop and put your desired background between the two layers. Have fun! I've created slighty better PSD file - there are 3 background themes. Medic, Tychus from sc2-beta and probe

Looks a little risky. Another thing:
The Overmind will still always be the true Zerg commander in my heart....I still cringe when I play Zerg and hear the Queen. I really wish there was a way to provide alternate ingame sound files, but until then, there's always mute .

You have probably never been to the University of Illinois, but Green Street police sit there and do just that to the college kids. On topic though, this is well done, but I for one won't be changing it, because of the prior wow threats from blizzard. If any one can confirm though weren't the model changes mostly used for area of effect boss fights and warlock/ hunter pets which had more of an effect than a menu I look at for seconds while waiting to load.

Probe needs to be gold not silver IMHO.

regardless of whether or not this is frowned upon by blizzard i must say the probe and medic look really sexy. i think rotating new pictures would be a cool new addition as does the rotating planets/spaceships going by in the backgrounds.

You dont want to break the terms of service. It makes everything that "protects" your game client invalid.

How do I get the Probe picture to work? It's not a .MPQ file. The medic one works fine.

The probe one is a dds file. Basically you have to download an mpq editor(http://www.zezula.net/en/mpq/download.html) and open up the battle.net.mpq with it. Inside go to Battle.net/Shared, and drag the dds in.

I've been using the medic picture instead of the raynor one you get when you start up.

TADA!
I'm having too much fun. I think I'm gonna keep making more cute medic girls and have them rotate lol. Link: pzeaMEDIC1

damn, the last one looks pretty awesome and she is so hot but what about legal problem, anybody contact with Blizz ?

I really hope blizzard endorses this and allows for various edits to the menu to allow for a more user friendly experience similarly to WoW interface modification. I mean, lets be honest, the default blizzard UI for SC2 is complete garbage. Please blizzard, give this an OK before I do it??

Go to the link in my post on page 8, and a few posts down you'll see a tutorial on how to do it. You can grab the overmind sound on the first page of that link. It's a simple process and only took me about 20 minutes to replace nearly all the sounds.

What about overmind voice advisor
http://www.multiupload.com/WA0V41OYMV
There are 2 versions of SC1 overmind - with echoes (more like SC2 overmind) and without (fully like SC1). Install - put those files inside \StarCraft II\Mods\Liberty.SC2Mod\enGB.SC2Assets -> \LocalizedData\Sounds\ZergUnitVO\Queen\ _put here_

this is way too complicated for me. Just putting a file into the shared folder doesn't work. Maybe I need to configure my newly installed mpq editor. Can anyone do a newbfriendly tutorial plz?
EDIT: It is a bit offtopic, but I didn't want to open a new post for this and this is also about MPQ Editing.
I just made Warcraft 2 Unit sounds for Protoss. Most of the sounds were changed, only "Nuclear Launch detetcted" hasn't changed, because I thought it was to important and I didn't find an equivalent. Also in this file are only the Language Units Sounds, so I didn't for example change the Probe Sounds. How to use for Windows (I don't know if it works for Mac):
1. go to "StarCraft II\Mods\Liberty.SC2Mod\". 2. Backup "enGB.SC2Assets". Note: If you have another language installed, the file will have a different name like "esES.SC2Assets" or so. First 2 letters are the language, second 2 are the country. My file will also change Terran and Zerg to English. 3. Download. [url blocked] 4. Copy the downloaded file to your "StarCraft II\Mods\Liberty.SC2Mod\" Folder. Note: If you have another language installed, you have to rename the file to whatever name you found in 2. 5. Play. 6. ... 7. If you get sick of it, copy the backup file back to 1.
