not sure if it was blizzard or just a rumor that blizzard was going to use warden from world of warcraft for starcraft 2 if they did that warden wouldn't care. it'd detect modified MPQ files and ban you. so yea. if blizzard never implement an anti-cheat system. i guess your perfectly safe. change whatever you want. | ||

The file that was changed in the MPQ is called "c9a309d4dd98195a94c061fb6e4a698c9668740c.dds". I tried extracting the file and placing it next to the MPQ but that doesn't work (this used to work for wow?). I think you should be able to edit dds file with photoshop and some nvidia plugin, but i'm not into graphics so no clue about that. Hope this helps anyone  | ||

fact stays the same, you are modifying your files wich is illigal. Does it hurt anyone and does it gives an unfair advantage? no Is it on the same lvl as maphacks/other cheats? hell no But the thing is, they can't know what you modified unless they will check every single part in every MPQ file for every PC with starcraft 2 installed wich is basicly impossible. So they go the possible route and say "changing your files = bad" | ||

What if my friend did this and i just played at his PC but i didnt do it, they cant ban you if they dont know the account owner. They could be sued for that | ||
