Hello everyone! We're coming up on Season 2 of Azhi's Colosseum now :D

First and foremost, huge shoutout to Gooseheaded for the posters and all of the image design. Pretty much everything you see is coming from him <3

Was super happy with the first season, and decided to delay Season 2 while I waited for BSL and IPSL to finish up.

A quick summary of what is coming in season 2:

Micro Fastest Tournament: Special Event
8 man tournament on the Micro Fastest map. 9 games of 4v4 and one game of FFA. Each round the teams are randomized, with winning players getting 1 point. The FFA at the end rewards bonus points to the top players
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place payouts will be based on the highest scores at the end

BGH Captains: BGH Event
2 captains for drafting a BGH team will be appointed. Players will sign up but they will not reveal who they are during the match, and we'll do a 3v3 with the 2 captains and myself observing in a voice chat. After the game, the captains will draft 2 players each (players can be revealed after drafting) and do a BO5 or BO3 for prize money

Foreign KCM: 1v1 Event
Same format as the Korean KCM. For those that don't know, it's essentially a race wars of 1v1s (3 protoss, 3 terran, 3 zergs). The winning race will be paid, as well as bonus payments if any player 'All kills' (meaning they killed all of a single race) Will be trying to do 2 different KCMs. One with no MMR limit where the best players signing up will fill the slots, and a separate for lower MMR (B-/A+)

2v2 Micro/Macro Tournament: Special Event
A team melee tournament where the teams will consist of a more or less average MMR. Ideally pairing some of the top players with lesser players, potentially a great learning experience for lower skilled players, and a lesson in patience for stronger players

Revamping The King's Challenge: (KoTH for cash)
There will be a bit of an overhaul for this event in general. Will be adding a kind of 'shop' where challengers can impose handicaps onto the king at the cost of the accumulated King's Bounty. Last season we ran into an issue where nobody could challenge Sziky and the handicaps in place were...lame.

There will also be the showmatches as we see fit (Like BGH teams challenging the Polish BGH team, community fueled tournaments, or just some hype 1v1s that people might want to see).
