Everything seems to be working fine except that i cant start a game?? Half way through loading screen it crashes and does error report. Help plz

You can create it in Photoshop. Just google infestor art and convert it to dds format, also increase brightness

you guys know how we get portraits for our profile as rewards it will be cool if we got maybe new backgrounds like this for as rewards as well!

I think not, the patch will cancel your changes for the 1.5 presentation, and for any futur patch it will be the same.
But I'm not sure.

They are totally reworked ingame file structure, and it checks more files, than in WoL. So I don't know. Probably later we will find, what can still be replaced

If someone was playing the beta, they could try installing a background and find out if they're still working or not. Other than that, we're just going to wait until the patch is released and test it then.
Add a drop of lavender to milk, leave town with an orange and pretend you're laughing at it.

Well, I want to said other bad news about file replacements.

Some time ago I've tried to replace enUS to ruRU localization files in Diablo 3. After launching new launcher (that with PLAY button and categories like "Playable", etc), it started to REDOWNLOAD all renamed files to their originals.

In SC2 1.5 beta they're totally redrawn file structure in SC2, also with new launcher and new streaming system. Some things in file structure are same, as in Diablo 3. But in result, it's definely different from WoL fire structure.

And I believe someone will find, what is still be possible to replace or edit. But it looks like Blizzards already knew about Bnet custom backgrounds and transparent Battle.net mod... because they implemented some transparent stuff in Bnet 1.5, also deleted some background images and instead we can see transparent planet at background or some new images.

H'm.. Guess it was only a matter of time until they started taking some kind of action against MPQ editing, but I'm sure we'll still be able to find something to change. I'm not really interested in playing the beta to see what kind of changes I can make right now seeing as anything different could still happen between now and the release, but once it's out I'll start messing around with it.

Starcraft 2 > Mods > Core.SC2Mod, open enGB.SC2Assets (or enUS etc depending on region) then go to Assets, Textures and replace the startupimage.dds

Just wondering, will this affect nods like the stronger team colour, can't remember if that was now or w/e. Didn't blizard say in some interview they support that mod? XD

They can hiddenly broke every way, where this mod worked. And new file structure in SC2 1.5.0 or Diablo 3 shows that.
