What is the official stance on MPQ editing?

Raelcun United States3747 Posts September 14 2010 12:32 GMT #1 Just curious as I'm seeing this pop up in a lot more threads recently about ways players can customize certain things about their SC2 by opening things up in an MPQ editor and swapping files around. This seems like a gray area as most of these are pretty harmless but promoting the editing of MPQ files also seems to be toeing a somewhat dangerous line in altering game files at the same time. Especially with Warden coming out and possibly handing out bans for messing with the game files I'm curious what the TL stance is on making posts on how to edit your MPQs even for harmless results if it could wind up potentially back lashing on the user.
