How to stream on TeamLiquid - Page 14
Forum Index > User Streams |
1) Do NOT promote your own stream in this thread. You may create a separate thread to do so. 2) Do NOT post in this thread to request a streaming site / channel change. Read the OP.

If I'm going to make a thread first, where do I post it to get it moved to the User Streams folder? Is that thread then the content of my streaming page? Or is that content separate? And if it's separate, can one change it or am I stuck for life with whatever I write in the application? Thanks!

Make it in the SC2 General forum and then use the same URL on the first post to have it attached to your stream. The content page of your stream is separate. You can change it as many times as you like :3

My 3month date is coming soon and it feels like forever even though I had winter break and schools day off due to weather. Just asking ;D They want to make sure people don't join, make a stream that clutters their system, and then leave... it makes sense to have people prove they can stick around for 3 months... which isn't really that long. No one is stopping you from streaming and posting about in a blog in the mean time. Thanks, Torte Edit: Re: Chill's post below. Oh. N/m don't make a blog :\

Just to add to what you said: the eligibility to stream (being 3 months) is very unlikely to go down because if it went down for newer people (to 2 months) it will create precedence and an idea that you can complain to have it lower to one month, etc. No exceptions so no one gets the wrong idea :3 Generally it's 3 months and potentially a handful of posts as said before!

Just asking ;D No. Rewriting 3 months as 1/4 of a year doesn't change anything. If you can't wait 3 months to be part of our community then we don't want you streaming here, frankly. You can still stream on any other SC2 community.

Otherwise everyone would bypass the streaming requirements by using a blog. If you want to advertise your stream on TL, it needs to be associated through the TL stream system.

That account was created on 2010-12-04 07:06:10 and had 0 posts. Reason: Do not PM me about streaming applications - you will be banned.

Either way I will use these 3 months to practice, increase my skill and hopefully give a better quality stream Just a little encouragement to those finding it tough to wait the 3 months out, make the most of it!
