1) Do NOT promote your own stream in this thread. You may create a separate thread to do so. 2) Do NOT post in this thread to request a streaming site / channel change.

The idea is that Internet connections are never 100%, so the server always wants to have enough extra data buffered such that it can account for dips in transmission.
That said, you (the streamer) can have your gap between the viewer by dropping out of the buffer range. I guess it depends on how the site handles it, but with UStream, I've had it attempt to keep the playback continuous, such that viewers got the swirly circle and when it came back it didn't appear to have missed anything, but the delay widened between me and the viewer with each occurrence; restarting the stream reset the delay.
Blame crappy campus network management for that -_-.

How do I know if I get accepted or declined? If declined, is there a limit of days you need to wait to reapply?
Edit: that was the fastest reply xD Torte

You'll get a private message.

Hey thanks for accepting me but I got a question. After I got pm from the bot, I went to the editing page and put the thread I made about 2hrs ago in the correction section and after I submitted the application again I went to the thread and it says that its closed. Is it closed because I submitted the application with the thread or was the thread in the wrong manner.

Hi, for some reason when I try to send the application, it tells me the following: "Unable to determine streaming service. Please make sure you entered a valid channel URL at a supported streaming site.". This is the link to my stream: http://www.own3d.tv/live/12481/
Is there any alternative way to send the application?

Try that.

Own3d channel IDs are just numbers, remove everything after the id in the URL.

You failed to detect sarcasm or simply calulate months. January to february 1 month, february to march 1 month. Total time on TL 2 months + a few days.

the justin.tv flash embed has changed. The height used by TL for the embeds is no longer correct, resulting in slightly pillarboxed videos.
