Any body here notice that in the campaign mutalisks are actually seen flying through space...
They actually float through the vacuum of space, flapping their little wings as they engage in interstellar travel.
Am I the only one that finds this odd? The first time I saw the supposedly ominous army of zerg fliers fluttering about through the great beyond I actually laughed out loud. I don't think that was the intended effect.
Which also begs the question; how do the zerg move from star to star? They don't have warp speed travel like the terrans or teleportation technology like the protoss.
Do they just flap their little wings at the speed of light, or what?
Edit: So I am clear; you cannot fly in space by flapping your wings.

Who cares, realism in video games is totally overrated.
If you truly care though, then nydus worms??

WTF !?
LOL I cant believe you are so thick. If you would have taken the time to read the compendiums the lore fully explains in the starcraft universe why it works.

zerg can use warp space, the overmind was able to create warp rifts or w/e the technical term was and go pewpew to other stars, they could even warp directly onto a planet's surface unlike terrans who have to warp in outside a planet's gravity field or something like that. (except in sc2 campaign where the hyperion goes whoooosh whilst still on the planet's surface).

In the hearts in each and every one of us.
It's not something I have to teach you, merely something you have to unlock within yourself.

Yes, this has been exactly as fruitful as I had hoped!

That still doesn't explain why mutas flap their wings in space!
|
They flap wings in space because ships can shoot healing rays at people.
