If you've really gone through 6 of those keyboards, then I think the word 'reliable' probably doesn't mean what you think it means. Either that or you're doing some serious mistreatment. As for my keyboard, it's just a Unicomp customizer model M clone, with the UK layout and a couple of windows keys added on.

Screen is adjustment too. I never liked Razer. Their early mice were too light and the high DPS is just marketing. I tried their new keyboard at a friend's recently and they don't compare to logitech and some microsofts. But then again, not all logitech keyboards are made equal either. Mx518 for mouse and Steel Qck for pad. 3/3 same stuff

I really don't feel like I need macro keys to "up my play". Just get something you feel comfortable with, the previous keyboard I had before this one was a cheap 9,99$ logitech standard keyboard, and I dare say it was the best damn keyboard i've had. I tried buying the exact same model but couldn't find it anywhere I bet that doesn't have APM technology though Edit: I have a cheapie logitech off of newegg. It's spectacular, and I won't feel bad if I somehow break it raging against Terran.

I don't understand the purpose of flashy keyboars that have tons of features, small screens and what not. The only reason to buy them is for their nice design, but i'm not into that.

You're going to have to wait for information on the blackwidow though, theres no real consensus if its good or not, apparently its using the cherry MX blue switches, but no one is sure. I would actually skip all these "gaming" brand keyboards and go for a good mechanical keyboard that does not boast by gamers for gamers and spend millions on advertising every year. I posted a strangely identical video of one a page back. That's basically what the razer is gonna be except for sound cause every manufacturer changes how plate interacts with keys.

The only downside is that it is quite loud, so perhaps the 'black' (I believe) switches are a better option, which have the same precise feeling but less sound. I think these are the ones found on the Steelseries 7g, although that was double the price of my keyboard. I would certainly recommend the investment (£60). I have used Razer keyboards and cheap membrane keyboards and I can't use them anymore after this experience. + Show Spoiler + I think you want the MX Brown switches. They have had the click "silenced" but still have the tactile touch. This means you get the feel of a clicky keyboard without the sound I have a Filco with MX Browns and it's great.
