Yesssssssss

I was worried no one else used this amazing keyboard.
Best gaming investment I have made and I bought it like 2 years ago as well for about $50.

I use a G15. Just got it on Tuesday.
Has anyone written a script for the G15 to put the Razer registry information into the LCD screen... it would be fun to see my super-low APM in game

Zomg. That would be the most useful thing ever.

I wonder if it could be made and compatible with my razer deathadder..

I use my IBM Model M, it's older than me (it is 23 and I am 22), works perfectly and I got it for free! Those keyboards last FOREVER.

The Model M is pretty much a collector's item now I used to have one and it was awesome.

Oh no! What happened to it? Don't tell me it somehow stopped working? I'm gonna get a unicomp if mine ever dies, just can't get work done without that keyboard (it just FEELS like I'm doing something important when I'm typing on one).

Using the Zboard Merc currently. It's been ok for gaming but I never really utilize the keyboard on the left. Ordered a Razer Lycosa off of woot that will be here this weekend

that keyboard is such a waste of money, the only thing that makes it different from the arctosa is backlighting and 2x the price. and the low profile keys is just horrible for quick APM imo

i don't agree with the last part

but the lycosa certainly has issues with keys just randomly not working. there's nothing like being in an intense game and realize you don't have any probes because your e key has decided not to respond

I was digging through my garage and found an old Dell QuietKey, tried it out, and loved how it felt and sounded. Been using it for a couple months now. Previously I used the stock Dell keyboard that they shipped with their computers a couple years ago. At LAN's I always got asked "Did you steal that keyboard from the school's computer lab?" lol

My Sony Vaio Cw series laptop built in keyboard and Logitech wireless mouse are all I need. I'm comfortable with it and it's definately the least of my problems when it comes to starcraft.

Another vote for the ridiculously over priced Steel Series. Lovely stuff.

Old version of the G15. Blue is better than the newer red. Seems to have better quality buttons and hash the ipod-style volume control rather than buttons. Screen is adjustment too.

I never liked Razer. Their early mice were too light and the high DPS is just marketing. I tried their new keyboard at a friend's recently and they don't compare to logitech and some microsofts. But then again, not all logitech keyboards are made equal either.

Mx518 for mouse and Steel Qck for pad.

Raptor-Gaming K1

This is seriously by far the best keyboard I´ve EVER used. The keystroke is just unbelievable awesome. Well IMO that doen´t matter that much for SC. But this one is just great if you work with your keyboard all day and because of the layout, it saves some space on my desk ^_^

I´m using it for ~6 years now and am still blown away by the keystroke. rofl, I already bought another just in case Raptor-Gaming stops producing it one day. I will never ever use another keyboard in my hole life. ...damn, I sound like the sickest fanboy ^_^

Edit: You can press all keys at once if you like to and non keystroke is missed. Most keyboards are limited to 3 or 4 keys simultaneous I think. So this is nice for shooters sometimes where you do something like running+strafing+jumping+weaponswitch at the same time...

$150 is not much for a keyboard with mechanical switches.
In the era of all-mechanical keyboards a usual price was closer to $200.
And that was a lot. But not overpriced. Consider the price for each switch.

Razer is now having its brand-new mechanical gaming keyboard "BlackWidow" with Cherry blues. If you are a Razer fan, maybe you want to check it out

I have a K1 in German layout myself and I'm pretty sure they aren't true NKRO but 6-key NKRO+4 modifiers. The problem I've been having while playing SC2 is, the Fn keys are way too far away from the number line and the left Shift key is way too small for me because of this EU layout. Also the position of the left Alt key is a little bit strange: it lies on the left side of the Y/Z key. But once you're getting used to it, it should be an awesome keyboard. Though I'd definitely recommend a keyboard in US ANSI layout (I'm dying for a HUGE left Shift key, yeah!).

Oh rly? That disappoints me a bit. Well at least it´s more then most keyboards can do ^_^

Funny thread on NKRO testing

As for the left shift key you are right. I´m using it for so long now, I almost forgot how often I missed that key in the first few weeks.

What do you need to reach the function keys in SC2 so fast for? Quicker surrende ^_~

I've recently changed for a Logitech G15. Works pretty fine once I got used to it. Before I was using a Microsoft Confort Curve 2000.
