I had a similar experience, except my friend wasn't 16, or a dumb ass. She just randomly went up to me and said "oh, I'm 6 months pregnant," and I was like :o "Neat." Except she wanted the kid, her boyfriend wasn't ditching her, and she was pretty well done high school. Having a kid is just like anything else in life. You make it work. Germany is a first world country, you're not going to have any insane difficulties, and your parents/grandparents are gonna be around to babysit your kid while you go to school. Sure, you can't really go out and party... but fuck, you have a baby, you shouldn't want to. Your kid's not gonna starve to death like if you were a poor African. Get the abortion if you want, but don't forget the euthanasia too. + Show Spoiler + I'm not really against abortion at all... I just think it's not appropriate in a lot of cases. Like, you don't want to have some guy who raped you's babies, but if you were just a fucking idiot who got pregnant cause you didn't wanna use protection and didn't think about the consequences... I support your death as well.

On the side against getting one, I say she should carry the baby to term, and then give him/her up for adoption. Often people who get abortions regret it for the rest of their lives. By carrying the baby to term, some childless couple is going to get really blessed by the baby.

PS: Protip: Make sure your friend knows that smoking and drinking are bad for the baby while she's pregnant if she's not going to abort it. She may not be aware considering she didn't realise having unprotected sex causes pregnancy.

Step two dont under any circumstances give her money to "pay for it" She can come to Sweden and do it for free if she really can't afford it. (The trip will be 100 bucks max)

If I understood it correctly, then in Germany the abortion is legal if (1) the pregnancy resulted from a crime (criminal indication or (2) the pregnancy will harm the psychic or physic health of the woman or the child (medical indication). This means that health insurance will pay for it. It is illegal but not subject to prosecution in all other cases with the following restrictions: - You need to get a counseling (pregnancy conflict counseling or sth like that) - You need to get a confirmation/proof of such a counseling - The abortion has to take place within 12 weeks of impregnation/conception - At least three days have to pass between counseling and abortion - You have to pay for it Sounds really German to me. A lot of bureaucracy but at least you can do it if you want to. On November 01 2008 00:28 PsycHOTemplar wrote: Think about it Random... Blessed is exactly the choice of words I'd use for the family who adopts this beautiful baby. You are wrong.

I hate the excuse of, "Yeah, I'm drunk as fuck, so I'm going to fuck anyone I'm in contact with." That is retarded that the boyfriend used that excuse to have unprotected sex with the girl. She's at fault too, but the guy is a big pussy. I hate guys like that. It just boils my blood to always hear, or read something like this.

you sit there and all you can do is judge people, people who are 16 and still in their puberty... you even wish death for people who make a grave mistake and then choose to undo the worst consequences of their mistake. Im sure you never have done a mistake, cus u always dodged responsibilities and preferred to sit on your lazy ass and point fingers at everybody not as perfect as you are. Germany is a first world country, you got that right, but you dont understand that BECAUSE of that you CAN abort under certain regulations. It is YOUR choice to abort or not, this is the kind of human dignity that you are granted by all first world countries by law. These laws werent made by some idiots or monkeys, but were discussed with ethic commissions and all that stuff. Ur opinion is that of a backwards conservative idiot. Maybe you wish death for couples who get divorced as well, cus ur such a conservative and arrogant retard who can't accept people making mistakes. I hope you seriously fuck up one day (pretty much granted, given you clearly demonstrated your social and psychological inaptitude) and have no means for rectification, being destroyed by your own ill-minded concepts of the world.

The bar is also pretty high, as a rule of thumb Id say you have to at least earn 1000 euros / month before you have to pay yourself.

If someone murders someone, they face the penalty. If they cry and whine about how they made a mistake, who really feels sympathy for them? This girl made a choice. She knew what would happen. And now she's sad it happened. At what point am I supposed to feel bad for her? Good lord man, people have to be responsible for themselves. Honestly, if this girl came crying to me, after years and years of never speaking... I'd just be kinda pissed off. This isn't a case of "the condom broke and my life is over " This is "I had unprotected sex and didn't think I'd get pregnant lol." Big difference. Thanks for registering on a StarCraft forum just to say that though, sowhat91.

Anyways back to the topic just be there to listen. I wouldn't advise to give her much feedback since she is so young and will only fill her head with more ideas which females have a hard time making a decision as is let alone a female during their peak of puberty. Hopefully she will learn from her mistake and do whats right from now on.

People have the right to make the choices that think they are best for themselves. Yes people are responsible for their own stuff, but they have to make that choice, you cant force them to. They will make mistakes, but it is their choice. Though sometimes people are completely informed and just make dumb decisions anyway and thats their fault.

Though sometimes people are completely informed and just make dumb decisions anyway and thats their fault. I've had sex ed. since about grade 6. If it's terribly different in Germany, then I retract my opinions. I don't really think that it is though.
