I had this childhood friend i knew in elementary school, she was(well still is prbly)a year younger than me and she was pretty cute, i think she liked me too i always fumbled around with her boobs under a blanket at hort( where parents dump their kids after school), now that im thinking about it she had ridiculously big boobs for her age she was like 10? Than yesterday i got a call, it was her, hey howre you doin, man we didnt see eachother for soo loong, she asked if we could drink somethin in a cafe or somewhere i said sure, and totally out of the blue she says: im pregnant. and im at a loss for words, after a while i ask erm whos the father? she says oh my ex,(i dont know him)and than she starts crying, and i try to comfort her somehow over the phone, of course it doesnt work, so she asks me if we can meet tomorrow, i say sure. She hangs up.
One of my friends is sort of friends with friends of her, so i called him and asked him if he knows anything about what was going on there, and it turns out, that they were at like some party and her ex got drunk and they just did it there somewhere without using protection, and afterwards when it turned out she was pregnant, he blamed her for it and broke up. happened like a week ago, and the girl is 16.
Im going to meet her tomorrow, obviously gonna try to comfort her somehow, but im not sure, what im going to say, i dont know if she wants the baby, should i ask her to think about abortion? I know her family isn´t very wealthy, shes in the middle of school, and with a baby at that age, your life is pretty fucked.

Yeah although i don't agree with abortion its the best thing for a 16 year old. I have two friends from school who both got pregnant, making them miss a lot of school and exams, no exams means more than likely your gonna have a shit job in life, which is not something you want when you have a baby. Abortions around here (Ohio) run about $400-500 dollars. Shouldn't be too hard to come by if you've got a job.
I highly doubt that pleading with a doctor will do any good, as medicine is a business just like every place else. They're out to get payed too.

Also if it turns out her or her family are against abortions or can't afford the $400-$500 pewpew mentioned, you can try to talk them into adoption at least =/ If you find a family who would like to adopt her baby I think they'll even take care of the medical expenses for her (I'm not completely sure though).
Either way, good luck talking to her. She's probably in a really troubled mindset right now and just wants anyone to give her comfort.

Also I'm assuming this didnt happen too long ago since you said her parents still dont know about it. If it was only a couple of weeks ago that she got pregnant, you could have an easier time convincing a doctor to abort the baby.

Most of the people here are saying a 16-year-old cannot effectively raise a child, and I have to agree. Maybe life when you're 16 isn't too difficult, but it will be in the next few years. I have plenty of friends who are high school seniors/college students who are busy almost all the time. One of my friends has a job, but has no time to work at it. Another is skipping school currently to finish college essays. Now adding raising a kid to that? IMO impossible.
Anyways, when you see her, don't try to offer advice unless she asks for it. If she does ask, the two options I can see are adoption and abortion. Go from there.

No it's not... A lot of people would think it's just a dick move not to help the kid out, including the guy ditching her. Fact is though, at least in Canada, police will come after your butt if you don't pay for the kid you had. It takes two people to make an accident (ar ar ar ar :D).
I had a similar experience, except my friend wasn't 16, or a dumb ass. She just randomly went up to me and said "oh, I'm 6 months pregnant," and I was like :o "Neat." Except she wanted the kid, her boyfriend wasn't ditching her, and she was pretty well done high school.
Having a kid is just like anything else in life. You make it work. Germany is a first world country, you're not going to have any insane difficulties, and your parents/grandparents are gonna be around to babysit your kid while you go to school. Sure, you can't really go out and party... but fuck, you have a baby, you shouldn't want to. Your kid's not gonna starve to death like if you were a poor African.

I completely agree with your view, although there is one thing I also hold. People have the right to make the choices that think they are best for themselves. Yes people are responsible for their own stuff, but they have to make that choice, you cant force them to. They will make mistakes, but it is their choice.

I hear abortion can have damaging psychological effects. But I would say that although it's good for her friends to be there, various medical professionals are the ones who can help the most (i.e. psychologists etc.) Maybe social workers and lawyers too. If she has it, child support is a NECESSITY. Doctors can advise her, friends can comfort her.

However I've heard (no proof or source) that they offer abortions to foreigners since they dont want people doing illegal "coathanger" abortions and risking their healt+life if abortion is heavily regulated in their home country. But that might not be true at all.

In Canada, it's a lot harder to just hop over the boarder lol. You pretty much have to be from the USA, or you have to have flown here. The latter is more expensive than any mediocre free health care you can get (not to mention too far away), and the ladder anyone who needs it can't afford a trip to Canada (unless they're humping the boarder), or if they can, they probably prefer the slightly higher quality private care anyway (and in times of emergency, you want to go to wherever is cloest to you anyway).
Basically, you're comparing two completely different things, so you can hush I'm not even positive that you're correct. I'm fairly certain I've been learning in my Global Politics class that if you don't have citizenship, you can't get crap in Canada, or any other country.

Abortion is not simply a possibility with a lot of people. It is, to me, murder. I don't know about the girl's [and really nor do you, as opinons change rather rapidly when the potential baby is before you] opinons on the subject, but, nonetheless, its not your place. Its far too big a deal for a friend, or an old friend, or whatever you are to her, to suggest it. Do not mention it at all.
I don't really know what to advise you to say when your actually there, I guess just listen to what she says. Usually how girls work really, they just like to tell someone their problems. I don't think shes looking for you to give her great advice or tell her how to look on the bright side of things. For whatever reason, she probably is just looking to you as a person she can vent to.

One of my friends is sort of friends with friends of her, so i called him and asked him if he knows anything about what was going on there, and it turns out, that they were at like some party and her ex got drunk and they just did it there somewhere without using protection, and afterwards when it turned out she was pregnant, he blamed her for it and broke up. happened like a week ago, and the girl is 16.
Im going to meet her tomorrow, obviously gonna try to comfort her somehow, but im not sure, what im going to say, i dont know if she wants the baby, should i ask her to think about abortion? + Show Spoiler + I know her family isn´t very wealthy, shes in the middle of school, and with a baby at that age, your life is pretty fucked.
I think you have SERIOUSLY missed the reason in her calling you, dude. She just told her bf that she is pregnanat with his baby and he ran off and now you think she is calling you (her former bf) for your input on birth choice?
