What an incredible life I have got to live. I am beyond thankful for the many opportunity's I have enjoyed. Something growing up I never could have imagined. I still cant.
I have never made much money in life but boy have I had some of the best experiences and been able to travel to places I never would have thought I would be. Never having made more than 32k in a year booking a flight for a couple thousand was never an option for me. So to be able to travel off of a silly skill like balloon art is mind blowing. And I hope an inspiration to those who could never see themselves doing something similar. You can do it follow your passion and stay open to the possibilities.
I was able to make balloons at the Cathedral of Counterstrike this year in Cologne!! What a great time being back at the Lanxess arena! I got to meet Kierapanda and the amazing film crew who work for Intel Gaming! I also met a long time forum lurker Florian!! Meeting Florian was such a treat and one of the highlights of the event I wish I had more time to chat with him..Make an account sir!!! A wonderful man named Freddy gifted me some wine and was delight to chat with as he came by to say hi each day of the event as many others did as well

While not working at the Lanxess I got to hangout with Andy from The Lost Level Bar in cologne having drinks and going to his bar to play some Trivia night. Andy is such an amazing friend we met back in 2015 i believe and traveled to HSC together with HeroMarine. Any time in cologne I try to visit Andy!! If ever your in Cologne go check out his bar!!

I have a friend I have known for 31-32 years. We worked together at a few different Pizza shops over the years, did Ice carving together and helped each other through relationship trials ..He has a successful pizza shop in the Tampa area of FL. And started a shop in NY Upper East Side of Manhattan. Its called Frico on 2nd. He offered to bring me out if I were to help him out at the shop to allow him and his Protege the chance to go back to Florida to see friends and family and check on his flagship shop. As well as move from one apartment on Roosevelt Island to a place within walking distance from his shop.
What a fun trip but so much work, burns, bruises , and beers!!! 10-14 hour work days 10-14 hour days off exploring the city and trying all the "great" pizza shops. Joes,Lindustrie,Mammas Too, Lucia, Grimaldis,and so many others Jamies pizza is better than any of them...
Home now . Back to work at the Bread Shop. Trying to figure a way to travel and do balloons and not have to be tied down to a silly job making 18 bucks an hour...
ESL reached out and asked if I could do one day at the EWC ... I wish I could fly across the world to make balloons for a day and come back... I told them I would have to charge for 3 days of work to make taking the time off and travel and would be willing to work those days not just charge 3 days and work 1... no response
I also was asked if I would be able to attend the HSC 30th. Which would be so awesome. HSC was always one of my favorite events to watch and to be able to make balloons at one back in 2015 was a dream come true. Looking at talking some more with Dennis about getting over there... I just cant do so on my own dime .... Shit i dont have a dime to try with... haha..
