I had this childhood friend i knew in elementary school, she was(well still is prbly)a year younger than me and she was pretty cute, i think she liked me too i always fumbled around with her boobs under a blanket at hort( where parents dump their kids after school), now that im thinking about it she had ridiculously big boobs for her age she was like 10? Anyway we played spin the bottle a lot with other kids and we always sort of twisted the bottle so it would point in our directions, we always acted like we didnt want to, urg girls are disgusting, but well we actually liked it,(or at least i did lolz). I went to a different school later on and we didnt see eachother anymore.
Than yesterday i got a call, it was her, hey howre you doin, man we didnt see eachother for soo loong, she asked if we could drink somethin in a cafe or somewhere i said sure, and totally out of the blue she says: im pregnant. and im at a loss for words, after a while i ask erm whos the father? she says oh my ex,(i dont know him)and than she starts crying, and i try to comfort her somehow over the phone, of course it doesnt work, so she asks me if we can meet tomorrow, i say sure. She hangs up.
One of my friends is sort of friends with friends of her, so i called him and asked him if he knows anything about what was going on there, and it turns out, that they were at like some party and her ex got drunk and they just did it there somewhere without using protection, and afterwards when it turned out she was pregnant, he blamed her for it and broke up. happened like a week ago, and the girl is 16.
Im going to meet her tomorrow, obviously gonna try to comfort her somehow, but im not sure, what im going to say, i dont know if she wants the baby, should i ask her to think about abortion? I know her family isn´t very wealthy, shes in the middle of school, and with a baby at that age, your life is pretty fucked.

Tell her to get an abortion, she can't be having a child at the age of 16 when she's not ready (and by the sound of things, she's not ready... not that you could expect any girl to be when she's 16...)

Yeah although i don't agree with abortion its the best thing for a 16 year old. I have two friends from school who both got pregnant, making them miss a lot of school and exams, no exams means more than likely your gonna have a shit job in life, which is not something you want when you have a baby. If she isn't with the father then the baby won't have a very good upbringing. Then again having an abortion must be fucking horrible

lol did muell just get banned for that? i dont know do abortions cost money? her parents dont know about it, but the thing is around here lots of doctors wont do it. its sort of semi legal in germany meaning, its illegal to have one, but you wont get punished for it. but every doctor has the right to say he wont do it

Had a friend who got impregnated, but ended up getting married. At the wedding I realized, we weren't kids anymore. gg

Abortions around here (Ohio) run about $400-500 dollars. Shouldn't be too hard to come by if you've got a job.
I highly doubt that pleading with a doctor will do any good, as medicine is a business just like every place else. They're out to get payed too.

Also if it turns out her or her family are against abortions or can't afford the $400-$500 pewpew mentioned, you can try to talk them into adoption at least =/ If you find a family who would like to adopt her baby I think they'll even take care of the medical expenses for her (I'm not completely sure though).
Either way, good luck talking to her. She's probably in a really troubled mindset right now and just wants anyone to give her comfort.

If she was drunk that night she was fucking her ex, she can tell her parents she got raped while drunk or something to get them to understand and let her get an abortion. If she wasnt drunk, then its her fault as well for not getting her ex to use a condom and I dunno what to say.
Also I'm assuming this didnt happen too long ago since you said her parents still dont know about it. If it was only a couple of weeks ago that she got pregnant, you could have an easier time convincing a doctor to abort the baby.

Abort. Abort abort abort. There is nobody that can successfully raise a baby at age 16 without amazing (and rich) family and friends chipping in to help, and even then she won't be giving it an ideal youth. It will suck to deliver the message but the kid's life, her life, and everyone who is close to her's lives would suck more.

Most of the people here are saying a 16-year-old cannot effectively raise a child, and I have to agree. Maybe life when you're 16 isn't too difficult, but it will be in the next few years. I have plenty of friends who are high school seniors/college students who are busy almost all the time. One of my friends has a job, but has no time to work at it. Another is skipping school currently to finish college essays. Now adding raising a kid to that? IMO impossible.
Anyways, when you see her, don't try to offer advice unless she asks for it. If she does ask, the two options I can see are adoption and abortion. Go from there.

What it's semi-legal? In Germany? I had no idea, that's so fucking retarded. If she has problems she should go to sweden and get one, here it's legal & free.
