Now that VP is out, the interest is way down but I'm sure it will fill up over the course of the day. CS crowd after VP lost yesterday. http://i.imgur.com/tj7iMQe.jpg They should stop with the free access in the future and sell very cheap tickets instead. What free access? I could have just came by and entered? You telling me this NOW?

I'm just giving you a hard time. You're right though, there is way too much meaningless filler and creation of artificial storylines. I always just mute/don't read that stuff

Yeah, I would have been coming just for today ... I really don't understand the system. If there are free spaces, why the hell it is not possible to buy them? They would make extra money on that! Then you can let people in free in what is left, but limiting the places sold to some arbitrary number is outright idiotic.

Sparse crowd might be due to lesser interest in Starcraft but most likely there is a huge queue of people outside. The process of letting people in is just slow and could definitely be improved. Free access is tricky. In the morning it means hours of standing in the line. But in the afternoons there were no longer any problems, you could pretty much get in and get out anytime. That how it was last years at least, someone wrote that people couldn't get back in this year after they left so maybe this has changed.

They closed entry around 8pm I think, until then you could go in and out. Too bad they didn't tell people when they closed entry, so many left to eat something and could not go back in.

They wouldn't be able to get the grants from the city for the IEM (at least not that much) This year they got around 400k $ from the city of Katowice to host IEM there.
