The slut mentality is incorrect imo. Women are sexual beings as much as men are. Just because she's having more sex than you doesn't make her a slut. Do you think that if a girl had a chance to have sex with someone like, idk, Justin Timberlake, that she would care how many women he's slept with? Probably not.
Stop labeling people, things, thoughts, actions. Stop analyzing them. Some meditators understand that some suffering will come if you judge something. So when you have a thought for example, don't judge it. This is a very difficult thing to stop doing. Even when you're aware that your mind automatically judges things and places things into categories, it's difficult to stop or maintain awareness that it is indeed happening.
Let's say you go to the store and there's 10 people in line ahead of you. What's your first thought, a judgement?
Many people have this problem but it is one of the fundamental things you should try to stop doing in order to feel better about things.
I can't believe a girl has never made you laugh; that can't be true. Loosen up a little.

What does Shauni do?
I read the word counter; is it a KFC one or a JP Morgan one?

I didn't even call her a slut. Also I don't judge pepole. I observe and draw conclusions. I don't think less of female sluts than other people.

I'm saying sluts don't really exist, unless they're homeless cokeheads.
I'm also trying to make you aware of this idea that the mind is always judging things automatically. It's a bit difficult to explain the concept. I'm not sure you understood that's what I was trying to get across to you; if you did, then good.

Pretty sure that's what judging is - observing and forming a conclusion. Can't tell if this guy is a master troll or not - next level shit.

you sir are an outcast, and you will need to find an outcast girl.

Not that I care enough to oppose the gender roles, but it's ironic how many females want a humorous guy when they are as engaging as stones themselves. LOL
Whether you're trolling or not, I think my main piece of advice for you would be that you probably need to have more social engagements with women, in general. Not just brief encounters with acquaintances, but ones where you actually get to know a bit about them (maybe join a board game club and play good two-player games like twilight-struggle [love this game!] where other males won't fully take the spotlight?); I think once you start getting to meet more women that could be potential mates, your infatuation with this particular one will decrease considerably. And if there's one thing that women love/hate, it's a guy with a girlfriend, so I'm guessing that might even make your chances with your co-worker go from minimal to somewhat-likely!

So reading through the thread, people are confusing me. Is Shauni a troll or is he seriously like this?

i'm inclined to think he's sincere, which makes it kind of suck that he's the subject of so much ridicule

Very well written blog Shauni. You should honestly consider writing a novel or something. I can only think of two pieces of advice lol. First, I think you should take it easy. You've confessed to her and based on what you wrote, she rejected you. It's not a big deal. Just keep working along side her as you are atm and stay as friends. You already put out your feelings for her so she knows them. If in the future, she changes her mind, that's great but if she wants to stay friends, that's great as well. Eventually, you'll work through your feelings as time passes and start seeing her as a friend as well. Just going to take sometime. Other piece of advice that comes to mind is that someone mentioned that you like anime or something in this thread. Maybe join an anime club or other clubs around where you live. You'll meet more people and you might find someone who you like and they like you as well.

I actually thought he was a troll entering this thread. I don't know why I made the association. His previous threads aren't really trolly. They seem serious. It must have been group mentality where someone calls him a troll, then a few more do, and then I just associate "Shauni = troll"

Nobody yet has theorized about a possible troll/truth hybrid. I call this phenomenon "Trullth".
