I take it all back its clear Take is the real evil person in this situation. Guy acts as reasonably as someone can > gets upset about private conversations being made public > gets jumped on by fans of the most toxic duo in e-sports. Couldn't agree more, he offers to help out in any way he can, and then he gets stabbed in the back. (maybe that's overly dramatic) He gets upset and posts PRIVATELY MESSAGES something that vaguely hints to legal action and suddenly it's all as if he was suing them already. Don't do anything that can make sponsors look bad in this industry because it is simply too fragile for pulling shit like that. It's like someone said a while back on whatever talk show I was watching, we can't just say no papa johns we don't want your sponsorship until you are better to your employees.
Also, TaKe's comment about legal action could simply be questioning if it was legal for Genna to use his private messages publicly without his permission.

Wow, I can't believe this shit. Genna posting private stuff, and Dennis rightfully gets mad. Then she posts his reaction online again?! W-T-F
You owe TaKe an apology!

You support that, right? That's totally cool with you?
Have you ever followed Axiom? They post this up for practically everything, which is why the team has so many fans. Did you see their blog post on why they ended up with Miya in the loser bracket?
If TaKe has a problem, he could've posted it up the same way and made the situation more transparent. That's what we (Axiom fans) like: the transparent way they detail their decisions. If there is more truth, the ball's in his court. If he wants to cover it up..... well he shouldn't have made threats of legal action which were probably going the way of his prior conversations.
If he expected this not to happen, well then he shouldn't have worked with people who do this for everything.

This is what I am saying. Not only does Genna post the private conversation once, but she does it again the SECOND time when Dennis already told her his misgivings about the first one.
We could call the first reveal of the private conversation a mistake/error in judgement, but then she does it again. Wtf???

I find quite obnoxious that they are insulting Take who has provided the community with one of the best and most entertaining tournament s there is HSC which ran for 7 editions and made sc2 players look more human. Also take has been with sc2 from the very beggining. In terms of what the sc2 community is concerned I would much rateher prefer to have take and see the next HSCups than hear about totalbiscuit whinning and moaning all day long.
And this is another thing I disliked form the very first day about the totalbiscuit jenna-couple:the constant whinning and moaning.Everybody knows that in the esports industry you have to deal with unpleasant situations.LiquidNAzgul knows about this, alex garfield, sir scoots,day9 and countless other team owners and people involved know about this yet none of them moan and complain as much as totalbiscuit and genna.I mean literally you would think they are the only ones having issues and everyone else doesn't.Totalbiscuit is probably the only teamowner who constantly throws the 100k $ number on twitter to remind the community how much he invested.I never hear Nazgul say on twitter:"Man I invested probably a million dollars since bw in the sc scene you all should not say anything bad about me".Get over it.You are not more entitled than any other team owners who put money into the scen.If esports, and especially sc2 does not make you a profit then for gods sake move one.
I would not be surprised that in a couple of months after tb and genna decide to leave sc2 permanently they will write an essay on reddit simmilar to what destiny did when he switched to lol saying how bad sc2 is and how much the community sucks. On the long run tb will hurt the sc2 proscene more than they will help.
And the excuse about bashing is absolutely pathetic. All people in esports get ot deal with anonymus trolls. So what?Noone has quoted them as the reason for baciing off esports. And bashing Take out of all people is absolutely disgenuite.Oh and by the way Take has not taken any legal action. He might have just been upset and trolled on skype.
In conclusion:I understand that people can not make large amounts of money of sc2.But if you really wana quit the scen do not do it destiny style by throwing trash at everyhting.instead be more humble about it.Nobody blames you.
I agree with most of what you are saying, but why on earth are you so harsh about it? Everytime there is any kind of drama everyone is acting like the people involved are mass murderers and fans immediately take sites to throw trash at everyone not agreeing. While destroying all kinds of stuff in the progress.

Likely because after he brought up legal action she stopped giving a shit about what he wanted, rather then just addressing the issue and asking she refrain from doing it in the future or even asking for an apology he escalated it drastically.

The reason why the team has so many fans has nothing to do with posting private skype logs/emails. They have a lot of fans because Totalbiscuit and ex-Slayers players have a lot of fans.

Goodness I never imagined TaKe to get so angry.
I mean I understand why he got angry, and I think his reaction was a bit much, but he seemed such a nice guy.
I'll miss Genna, only esports team owner in recent times that would listen to each and every persons opinion.
EDIT: and Take is a cool guy. I was just surprised by his reaction.

Take has the right to be angry. He is the injured party here. Take isn't the one who posted the private conversations. Can you ever imagine Nazgul posting private conversations to the public? Hell no. Actually, when is the last time a sc2 team owner posted private business related conversation to the public without notification and consent. NEVER. Genna is just plainly in the wrong here.

Well I don't see Axion being an organization much longer without Genna at the helm.

GL to Genna w/e she is going to do next.
Second I would like to see Denis side of things before jumping the gun.
Third I do hope this ain`t just a PR post on TL because those are paid if I understand corectly.

No, I'm saying that the team is better off without a person in charge who starts to "not give a shit" about what a popular tournament organizer and community pillar (for the lack of better word, you have to admit that for the European scene Take is huge) wants, and just goes and posts all kind of information that could be really harmful for all of the three parties involved.

Doing what exactly? Having a PRIVATE conversation with somebody? Or doing everything to help Axiom attends the finals? Or do you mean his insane effort he puts in this Community, just to get stabbed in the back in public?
|
On August 16 2013 16:40 Advantageous wrote: why is TaKe doing this... i thought TaKe was a cool guy until now...
All he did was privately write "I wonder if there is legal action against this?" referring to Genna posting private conversation logs that he felt poorly represented Acer.
And then Genna posted that publicly as well, with a negative slant towards Take, and TB went around on twitter, reddit, and TL posting "Fuck Take".
