So let me get this straight:

Misc. issues cause Axiom to not be able to attend an event.
Genna posts announcement.
Minor (MINOR) disgruntlement from community.
Genna seeks to defend herself and her team, posting private chats of her and TaKe.
TaKe sees these, and realizes it could make Acer look bad, and in this money-starved business, that's the worst thing you could do.
TaKe gets mad, writes angrily to Genna.
Genna again posts a private conversation and calls it quits.

At the end of the day, TaKe was just paranoid about making a sponsor look bad, I don't think that's at all problematic. Yeah, the legal threats were dumb, but Genna's posting them publicily to try to crucify TaKe seems worse.

1. lol.

2. No, he thought it could make Acer look bad, which it in no way could.

3. That was not her intention.

4. The more I read from Genna and TB the more I love the both of them. I will support them both, as well as Axiom itself, until the end.

This post is so good it made the front page of reddit, but I have to say I don't think Take has to publicly apologize for anything. He did absolutely nothing to turn this into a public spectacle, if anything he wanted the opposite.

It was already a public spectacle because it's public information that a team will not fly to the ATC finals. Everything that came later was damage control.

So you think it was a good idea to post private business conversations to make you and your organization look good in the communities eyes at the expense of another individual and at the expense of a sponsor?

You support that, right? That's totally cool with you?

I don't know if I agree with posting private business conversations, but I know that they WERENT AT THE EXPENSE OF TAKE OR ACER. The posts MADE THEM LOOK REALLY GOOD AND HELPFUL.

EDIT: sorry, other than the "hes trying to take legal action for no reason, look." part they made take look good.

I actually felt the first blog was already making the situation worse (after the original announcement - once the additional details were added).

This blog is the equivalent of raging to someone on ladder, quickly ignoring them and pause quitting followed by having your friend spam them too.

I love Genna and Axiom. I'm so sad about this, but definitely understand why she would choose to. I wish you and your husband and your team the very best. I felt the previous blog post showed everyone in a good light and was very up front and honest. Takes response makes me think he didn't actually read it, and definitely think his response was way more hostile then it should have been.

Germany is just starting to wake up. If you think the backlash against Genna and TB is big right now, just wait until Germany's/Europe's sc2 crowds chime in. You ain't seen nothing yet. They are fiercely loyal to take, especially when he is in the right.

Yeah man we should totally just hug it out after he threatened my wife and the team with legal action.

Is this the first time you got threatened with legal action? My mom deals with that daily at her work with clients. Grow up. I got threatened with legal action and racism a couple days ago. You know what I did? I played it cool, stayed calm, and finished my transaction with the buyer.

I don't blame her. She honestly sounds like one of the nicest and most supportive people...in addition to being a good mom and wife and friend.

Furthermore, I just want to say: I think it's embarrassing to threaten to sue someone over such trivial matters, and the fact that such a small community as SC2 isn't completely all-out for one another is sad. When there's in-fighting, especially in small populations, you're gonna' have a bad time.

It wasn't at the expense of another individual or the expense of a sponsor. Did you actually read the blog? Genna mentioned several times that she thought TaKe was awesome and that he was going out of his way to help out their team, and that in no way was it Acer's fault.

Genna : Worst case scenario, we forfeit and Millenium takes our slot.

Dennis : but before a team is not coming i really wanna help and even willing to pay some of my money into it thats why i ask i just try to find options

Genna : I'll have to talk to John about it to see if we have anything leftover from our sponsor pool for the month.

Dennis : okay and i will talk to acer about it if they would cover another 1500+ i think i am willing to help to on top

I take it all back its clear Take is the real evil person in this situation.

Guy acts as reasonably as someone can > gets upset about private conversations being made public > gets jumped on by fans of the most toxic duo in e-sports.

Couldn't agree more, he offers to help out in any way he can, and then he gets stabbed in the back. (maybe that's overly dramatic) He gets upset and posts something that vaguely hints to legal action and suddenly it's all as if he was suing them already.
Don't do anything that can make sponsors look bad in this industry because it is simply too fragile for pulling shit like that. It's like someone said a while back on whatever talk show I was watching, we can't just say no papa johns we don't want your sponsorship until you are better to your employees.

Wow, this has been a mess of a situation from both sides. Regardless, Genna has contributed enormously to esports, and I'm sad to see her step down. I'm sure TB will do an amazing job with the team!

if you can't keep your mouth shut about some private conversations you have no place in the world of business and nobody will be doing business with you in the future.
good thing for axiom that she stepped down.

No matter her intent, she should have afforded take the professional courtesy to notify and receive his consent to post the private conversations to the public.

It's like Nazgul let's TB know in private that he received 50k from a sponsor. That's good news right? But that doesn't give TB the right to tell the public about the content of the conversation he had with nazgul without notification and consent.

It's a matter of professional courtesy

How should I put this, it is not literally the opposite of damage control. It is literally damage control. There might be new ripples of damage from the damage control, but that does not change what it is. It's like calling cooking that results in a burned meal, burning food. The entirety of the time you prepared your tomatoes, and chopped the onions and whatnot is not burning food. It's cooking. Stop trying to twist words to make your one-liners sound better. Write proper, succinct posts.

At times like these (about every other day, right?) makes you really realize what a joke this eSports business really is. We should all just call it quits and be done with this shit. Let's pick a sport that has actual professionals working in it.

If for some reason TB wants to continue to run the team, I think that he should hire a PR person to deal with all of this. Now that he is the head/face of the team more than before, he can't be out here on TL or on Reddit slashing out at people and telling them to fuck off. That'll just destroy the team in a heartbeat.

Feels like most of the people in here didn't even read the posts and are blaming Take for everything, it's just silly. Partial blame goes to everyone involved. To me it seems that Take was just trying to protect Acer. Genna should have taken a page out of the EG's PR-book and just released some bullshit pr-language statement saying absolutely nothing at all, because that is professionalism. Posting private emails/skype logs is not.

Good luck in whatever you end up doing Genna. Perhaps you should think of something completely different to do, if you can't handle the stress that well. I don't blame you at all, I couldn't handle it either.

I find quite obnoxious that they are insulting Take who has provided the community with one of the best and most entertaining tournament s there is HSC which ran for 7 editions and made sc2 players look more human. Also take has been with sc2 from the very beggining. In terms of what the sc2 community is concerned I would much rateher prefer to have take and see the next HSCups than hear about totalbiscuit whinning and moaning all day long.

And this is another thing I disliked form the very first day about the totalbiscuit jenna-couple:the constant whinning and moaning.Everybody knows that in the esports industry you have to deal with unpleasant situations.LiquidNAzgul knows about this, alex garfield, sir scoots,day9 and countless other team owners and people involved know about this yet none of them moan and complain as much as totalbiscuit and genna.I mean literally you would think they are the only ones having issues and everyone else doesn't.Totalbiscuit is probably the only teamowner who constantly throws the 100k $ number on twitter to remind the community how much he invested.I never hear Nazgul say on twitter:"Man I invested probably a million dollars since bw in the sc scene you all should not say anything bad about me".Get over it.You are not more entitled than any other team owners who put money into the scen.If esports, and especially sc2 does not make you a profit then for gods sake move one.

I would not be surprised that in a couple of months after tb and genna decide to leave sc2 permanently they will write an essay on reddit simmilar to what destiny did when he switched to lol saying how bad sc2 is and how much the community sucks. On the long run tb will hurt the sc2 proscene more than they will help.

And the excuse about bashing is absolutely pathetic. All people in esports get ot deal with anonymus trolls. So what?Noone has quoted them as the reason for baciing off esports. And bashing Take out of all people is absolutely disgenuite.Oh and by the way Take has not taken any legal action. He might have just been upset and trolled on skype.

In conclusion:I understand that people can not make large amounts of money of sc2.But if you really wana quit the scen do not do it destiny style by throwing trash at everyhting.instead be more humble about it.Nobody blames you.

This. TB should have supported Genna more, instead he draged her down with his own personal problems. Really sad for Genna. But with an immature partner, i saw this coming many moons ago.

These posts make me sad... stay out of people's lifes you idiot!
