Since you are in the US, posting on a US website, and are a US citizen, you are fine. I don't know the laws in Germany/the EU - they sometimes have wonky laws regarding such things. But they don't apply. Is Take angry? Sure, why not. Did he bother to do any due diligence and actually read it? Apparently not. Did Take do any due diligence to ensure that his staff made sure all the correct information went to the people it needed to? Apparently not. I like Take. I do. But his reaction is not realistic from the cross cultural perspective, and I'm 99% sure that any legal or criminal complaint would fall flat on its face. Acer mad? Maybe they could be. But with who? Genna? Shouldn't be. She's not contracted with them to run a tournament to generate positive exposure. Who is? Take. So they might be angry at Take - could this be why Take is mad? Maybe. I dunno. Take can be mad. I don't think he should have any reason to be mad. If you want private communications, don't use skype to discuss business. (Aside from Microsoft reading it, think on this - Take (a "foreign person" to the United States) communicated with Genna (a U.S. citizen) which qualifies it for intercept by the NSA. (I won't mention that German intelligence services may monitor it themselves and report it to the NSA, that seems to be ending or at least under discussion.)) I don't think you should back down, Genna, but it's up to you if you want to continue to deal with this kind of thing.

His first response is to take it to the courts, he really needs to reconsider his response because so far the only result of this is the scene losing a great manager and me never watching any of his events again. There's enough content to skip HSC without missing out.

I hope Take enjoyed the free casting and the numbers, I'll never deal with him and his organisation ever again. Oh that is so mature TB. I really agree witht you on most topics but you can't see that everyone made a mistake in this situation? You just trying to shitstorm him now... "classy". To post privat discussion openly in a forum is a big no-no even if you don't want to see it his way. The lawbullshit by take it obviously just angryman talking and not smart either. So everyone looses.

Bleh, bad situation. Genna, you were an amazing manager and your public communications were a breath of fresh air in a world where substance is something you never get in an official statement. Though I'm more than a little sad to see you go, if it's what you really want, then it'd be stupid of me to yell at you for wanting to leave. Hell, I'd have done it months ago if I had to go through what you did. Always wondered how you managed to be so upbeat in the video interviews I saw you in.

What just happened is just a tiny taste of the sheer amount of bullshit, backroom nonsense, immaturity and general awfulness that happens in this scene on a daily basis. This is the straw that broke the camels back after a years worth of stress that would have crushed a lesser person far sooner. Sorry, people aren't robots, emotions exist, stress is a real thing and there comes a point where its' better to step back for your own health. The audacity that anyone is questioning her decision to leave and pretending to know what's going on in her head, the sheer audacity. They person you quoted didn't question if the decision was right or wrong. If someone else did, quote them regarding the last part of your post (or separate your post so people know you're no longer responding to the quote). I don't blame anyone for getting out of an unnecessarily stressful situation. Best of luck to all parties going forward.

You taking a dump on him because a peer has a valid reason for being upset with your wife makes you look childish and immature, imo. The best thing Axiom can do for the community at this point is accept the blame they earned, apologize, and move on. Neither of you are going to do e-sports any favors by creating a shit storm of drama in an effort to save face. Take the high road bro~

Bullshiting the community and trying to save face. You know why this scene is such a mess? Because it's riddled with incompetence and dishonesty. Gennas first duty was to the team, that means damage control, that means showing our side of the story and that means minimizing how slammed we got because the statement that was put out threw Axiom under the boss while saving face for ATC, regardless of poor communication and mismanagement that event suffered. I have always believed shit gets done by being honest and forthright with people and I believe that massively overrides any expectation of "privacy" you might have. Your definition of maturity is irrelevant, it gets nothing done.
