Terrible for Karlsson. And yes Babcock needs to go. Its not his fault Holland left him with complete junk in the blue line but he is not a good coach. And quite frankly even if he was a good coach of a fines first, highly skilled team its not what he has on his hands now outside of like 3 guys. Id rather Red Wings start a serious rebuild than limp into 6-8th and then get blown out by someone in the first round.

I wonder how that effects him going forward. A huge part of Karlsson's game is his speed. you can play in 3-6 months, but it takes a tad longer to get up to 100%. Suggs had that injury and was fine. Zajac had that and was playing at like 80% for a bit

Agreed, there is no way that Cooke meant to do that. It is silly to even suggest he would try and cut someone with his skate. Mistakes happen, it sucks it happened to one of the best defencemen in the game at the moment but oh well. I hope he makes a fast recovery and comes back just as good.
