Both Jessica's and my emotions have nothing to do with any of this. Where every manager and spokesman before her have the self-control to remain calm and keep the discussion professional, she cannot. I (probably?) shouldn't be a manager -- and she should not be either.

Reading these posts, youd think crank did no wrong and jessica is sole creator of the mess Yeah it's no doubt a combination of factors and mistakes from all of them. But the reason people are reacting differently to Crank and Jessica is probably a question of attitude. Whether he was right or wrong, Crank just calmly states his side. Jessica is burning to expose and crush these guys... It's not very dignified and it looks bad. Especially when you consider that she is 40 and well-off and she is trying to ruin a bunch of young dudes in their early twenties. Call me crazy, but this seems unnecessary. If she really gave a shit about SlayerS and their memory she could just let it go now. Pursuing this to the bitter end is pointless.

I think the concept behind the Captain is always responsible/goes down with the ship isn't that others don't have blame. But because the captain has responsibility throughout (stocks the ship, charters the route, crews the ship, etc) that anything that goes wrong is enivitable of his design and ultimately his fault for lack of forethought, error in judgement. Anything else (like a giant storm) they'd say meant he was meant to die (ie act of God).
Not that it is my opinion ^^, but I think some of you non sailors are missing that the main point isn't that its only managements fault, but regardless of the heaps of fault everywhere, management is accountable along as at fault. Sorry if i'm stepping on any toes

Yes, that's simply because every manager and spokesman normally stays in the same profession and thus you cannot afford to lose relations. So yes, it does in fact have everything to do with this.

Who is this Jessica and why was she allowed to manage one of the best founding teams of SC2? Who is her superior and why did he allow this to go on? I would imagine a good practice environment is what really separates the good teams from the bad.

Jessica = Kim Ka-Yeon, a semi-popular actress in South Korea. Her fiancé is Boxer.

No, it doesn't. Lol. You have expectations to be met as a manager. When you fail and are a poor manager, you don't blame everyone else and go further and tarnish their reputation -- true or false, in selectively revealing insider info within the team. Jessica isn't granted an excuse because she handled (and continues to handle) this horribly, whether it's her emotional state or whatever problem she has.
I guess as long as Jessica feels wronged she can do whatever the hell she wants, right? Should probably just lock this thread up unless you've managed a team before. What a ridiculous reply.

' Literally every single person'? Except that she transferred Taeja away without issue. Ganzi left without issue. Several of the B teamers have stayed committed to the team and have excelled recently. Coca, Min, and Puzzle leaving were due to the ESF drama, not because of Jessica, and she let them leave due to their wishes. She's only come out and stated things against people who have wronged her or the team in a negative way. Yes, because picking excellent players and bringing them to light int he best way possible was her fault. Who would MMA be if he wasn't on slayers in the GSTL, and being sent all over the world winning foreign tournaments. Who would ALICIA be, who was only a diamond leaguer who boxer took in despite not making it through their team ranking tournament, and ended up getting put in the limelight in several tournaments including GSTL. Gasp, totally their fault for helping these deserving players get what they deserve right?
Jesus, it's like people side with the players, then just completely forget that they would never even be there if SlayerS didn't take a chance on them. 'Literally every single person', yeah right. Cella is even taking Jessica's side in this, and you're gonna come here and now tell me that Cella is not someone who is trustworthy? Someone who doesn't appreciate fans, and loves us all? I'm waiting for it. When will someone come and call Cella a dirty drama whore.

MMA's response seems mostly professional, calm, and collected. He really shouldn't have made shots at Boxer's and Jessica's relationship, though, but I guess his reputation's already ruined in Korea, so it doesn't matter what he says.

MMA's statement is hard countered by Jessica.
It looks like the former coach Ryu won turned MMA's personal coach, and MMA was the one
responsible for paying Ryu won after he won GSL anaheim, but Ryu won only received a graphics card
worth $1000. So thats why Ryu won left slayers for woongjin

I beg to differ. You apperantly don't see what I meant. A manager stays professional so he doesn't damage his relations, and therefore he can continue in his line of work. If none of that is your concern, even managers tell tales. There's actually quite a few examples outside of eSports.
