That issue is effectively over in Korea.

Unless someone is straight up lying at this point (there shouldn't be any need to, especially since there allegedly are recorded phone calls) it seems like it's just a lack of communication between the management and players. But again, at this point it shouldn't even matter.

I think we scared her off with our German potato salad. On a more serious note, this drama seems to have no end and I highly doubt there will be any contest for which drama receives the SC2 Drama of the Year Award 2012.

Are you serious? Because those allegations are going to have very serious consequences if Boxer comes out and supports Jessica. And who do you think Boxer is more likely to support? His long term fiance or the player he personally called "cancer"?

It's a genuinely sad event and I think people should just take it at that face value. Slayers was a great team, always a pleasure to watch, and was yet another product of Boxer's passion and enthusiasm for the Starcraft scene. When Slayers was first announced, I remember thinking that this could very well be Boxer's greatest contribution: a progaming team that would carry not only his name but his work ethic, his innovation, his desire to win, and just his legacy overall. And to see it go down in flames like this? Littered with controversy and pointing fingers? Heartbreaking....just hearbreaking..... Seriously, without Mvp I would quit SC2 entirely. He's the only thing that keeps me interested in this scene. This community with all its drama, incidents and other bullshit is just sad. You want eSport/SC2 to become mainstream? Never gona happen with things like this whole SlayerS drama happening on a regular basis.

An incredibly large sum of money was demanded for me even though I had 3 months left on my contract. The talks broke down. This was because of the absurd transfer fee and other inquiries were made to teams that I didn’t even want to go to. I wonder which team offered this 'incredibly large sum of money' to MMA. EG maybe? What this answer of mma means is that Jessica wanted a high transfer fee for him. And thats why the foreign team that had interest, backed out of the talks. Ah right, that makes a lot of sense now. Thank you.

But as Fionn said: MMA is going to get wrecked in Korea just because of who he's dealing with. A shame really. If it had been about any other team's manager and their girlfriend then he'd probably be fine. Whether I want to or not...I'm waiting to see Jessica's backlash. It'll come...=(

Well, I definitely agree that the whole situation was messy, I think everyone was to blame. I don't think it's fair to say that it was all Jessica's fault for blaming the other side, as MMA seems to have done the same thing here. Sure, they both put in token apologies, but the majority of both the players' posts and Jessica's posts are very one-sided. I will say that it is management's responsibility to oversee the team and improve the atmosphere, though I think far too many people believe this removes any blame from players/employee J/ESF etc. There were many people going behind the backs of slayers' management, and under such conditions it is impossible to correctly guide the situation. All of this really just makes me sad and I wish they all could've had the chance to work everything out.
