So poetic for the last victor, the Protoss warrior, to utilize such varying tactics we have witnessed in the past and highlighted by other Protoss legends. The Stargate, the Robotics Facility and the Templar Archives. Yum. Like I said in my previous post, it couldn't be any more of a sweeter win for a Protoss Samsung fanboy like myself. I keep thinking back to the old days, feeling frustrated at the lack of improvement during middle school, and that unforgettable satisfaction I felt when I finally reached the coveted B rankings during freshman year of high school. Brood War is the one and only video game where I can pride myself for being very good, and it's something I worked hard to achieve. Damn it, man, I don't even know where to start. Those 2 AM nights sneaking up to the computer to watch the OSL finals, all the lan BW parties we have had at my house. I loved this game, and I still do. My mom used to always ask me why I couldn't just quit. I never had a good answer, but I just knew I couldn't. It really is a sweet-bitter goodbye. Coincidentally it had to come to a close at a time where I am wrapping up my days of education and having to think about entering the real world.

Koreans are enthralled with foreigners and Giyom and Bertrand always stood out (well, more so ElkY as he was always wearing sunglasses and changing his hair color frequently). They're exotic and heck it helps when you were pretty darn good back then as well. There aren't a whole lot of guys who could make it there in Brood War. It's so frigging hard.

I think the last OSL was better but this one is just so monumental and now imagine how this finals would've had been when the jangbi - zero series was the finals.. getting me goosebumps all over... i know what tomorrow will look like for me. watching older epic games like hiya-free on triathlon, bisu-yellow on heartbreak .. where is that list with the most epic games again?

some of the most exciting casting i've ever seen in any starcraft match, the crowd was incredible, even the camera-shy and not-so-shy girls seemed cuter than usual. everything was firing on all cylinders for this one and it's only fitting
