But Terrans find current lategame against storm/colossi highly annoying as well...
Put the situation into perspective please. The 3 games where nothing special went early on, MVP got demolished, and thus decided to all-in.

Really? Not even close. MVP has been dominating for over a year and a half. It's certainly "close" now, Dominating? After his last GSL victory more than 6 months ago he disappeared from the scene with bad results even in international events (wrists or not). One GSL made of cheeses, 2 base timings and allins (it's a statistic, not a "QQragenoobumad" thing) doesn't make him jump back into the #1 terran in the world chart So? Flash also had some bad tournaments due to his wrists and he's a bonjwa. but he had bad tournaments after he was bonjwa. and do you know what it took? wcg gold, 2 osl, 2 msl, proleague, proleague mvp, winners league, and being in the finals of every major tournament for a year. To compare to Flash is unfair though. Flash was the single most dominant player in the history of BW so comparing isnt really fair. I know that when you want to appoint the next bonjwa he will undoubtedly be compared to previous but lets compare his results to all of them and not just Flash. Do his results compare to the likes of Boxer, Oov, Nada, Flash and Voldemort. I would say not yet but its coming close. Its true, but you must remember that the term was coined to "Voldemort" first and retroactively applied to Boxer, Nada and Oov, with the term ending with Savior. I would say Mvp needs much more consistency and to get his wrists fixed asap. What i find most interesting of this series is that maybe Mvp found a way to play Tvp late late game instead of just turtling. If he had split his BCs he would have won that game
Yes the term was retroactively applied but it was still applied. If you wish to argue that any of them dont deserve to be on that list I would listen to that but I would certainly disagree and in some cases (Nada) rather passionately. Flash is by far and away the most accomplished and dominant player in BW history and no one compares MVP to Flash but to compare him with the others I think is starting to be allowed. I would say he actually deserves to be in conversation but he isnt there yet.
Frankly just to me his games this GSL were not as impressive as his previous GSL runs. I dont know what it was but they didnt look as dominant as MVP had looked previously and I base that on nothing beyond the "eye test"

4 stars, only because games 1-3 were pretty lackluster. Agreed, voted the same here. Total score is 4 stars though.

Does that mean bullshit ? If so, write the word, it's the same thing if you don't write it but convey the idea .. The point is, if Mvp can be considered an underdog in a match, he isn't a bonjwa. If he was a bonjwa there would be no doubt in anyone's mind that he was going to win.

You honestly can't say it was one of the better games you've seen. sure if it was a ladder game it would just be an okay game, but as a game 7 of an insane GSL finals comeback after 6 macro games? HOLY DOUBLE BACK FLIP BATMAN So you're saying because MVP decided to cheese in the last game of a Bo7, that made the game good? It was good because you didn't know who was going to win for a good portion of the game, it only became obvious in the last few seconds. I was entertained. So you're saying it was good because the situation made it entertaining for a casual observer, not because it was an actual legitimate display of skill... Honestly, I'm not hating on MVP for what he did. He won, and props to him for that. I'm just saying it wasn't a legitimately good game with respect to a showcase of skill and decision making. I think it was, and I'm no casual observer, at least I hope GM league doesn't make me a casual, that was a tremendous display of resilience and decision when he didn't give up after the first failed rush with only 4 scvs left and flanked Squirtle's stalkers, beautiful, brillliant game.

How the fuck is he a bonjwa in the GSL? It has been 10 months since his last GSL title. "Bonjwa is a term used to describe a player who dominates the StarCraft scene for a long period of time. A bonjwa has a very high winning percentage and successive title wins. However, a bonjwa is not defined by his statistics or records. Rather, a general consensus is reached that he is the most dominant progamer of his era." MVP has been dominant in short periods, not over a longer span of time, and there is definitely not a general agreement that he is one.
Iam not an MVP fan, but u have to give credit where credit is due.
guy was practically out of the scene with his wrist problems, had to do a break, several months later pops up again and gets back to 2011 god mode.
u cant include the months of break or stepping down from his side, u have to count the times when he was always at full condition.
adding up the months when he was in healthy condition really shows an impressive player, who almost always made it at least to round of 4 in the hardest tournament in the world, incl 4 titles, which is the most, and the most prize money won overall.
yes if not now, hes certainly very close tto Bonjwa status. 2012 will be hard to take him down by any of the current SC2 pros.

GSL finals aren't a representation of balance. Protoss is perfectly balanced at this moment. They have weaknesses and strengths and neither is completely broken. You're missing my point. Terrans are currently CONSTANTLY whining about OP Protoss.
Terran has been saying that since the end of LAST YEAR after Ghosts got nerfed. If Protoss was so OP we'd have seen it by now.

LISTEN to BLIZZARD ! Punish Toss IN THE EARLY GAME and win ! Don't PUNISH TOSS, play straight macro game = 100% loss. That's how i keep my toss win over 60%. Never, but never, macro game I believe the message from Blizzard is to damage toss early game to come even late game. Terran going to late game with toss wouldn't necessarily mean the toss has an advantage. It's relative to how much damage was done. Blizzard is not telling you to win early game and that otherwise you lose... They kind of said, kill toss in the midgame but then you can drag it out to the lategame if you like(rather than just take the w) and fight heads on. This is what they said Show nested quote + We do agree that if both sides take few to no losses going into the late game, protoss can have an advantage. That said, we also know that terran players have a lot of offensive capability and harassment options at their fingertips in the mid-game. If terran players press that mid-game advantage, then protoss can’t necessarily get into the late game at their full potential, which can nullify any advantage they might have had. So, pressing that mid-game advantage is important (just as it would be important for protoss players to mitigate mid-game damage so they can to move into the late game in the strongest possible position). Ultimately, each game plays out differently, and depending on how the two races enter the late game, each side has a fair chance to win.
From that quote, they are definitely not advocating for terran to win early or during the midgame. As game designers, they would never say or even mean to hint at that. It's clear they are saying that terran has to do more damage earlier to break even or to gain an advantage later because they are supposedly designed that way. And my logic is, if you do that dmg in the early/midgame, in a lot of circumstances a followup push(rather than putting resources into upgrades that wouldn't be done in time/expos) would just win in that timeframe rather than risking getting the toss back into the game via good turtling.
