You honestly can't say it was one of the better games you've seen. sure if it was a ladder game it would just be an okay game, but as a game 7 of an insane GSL finals comeback after 6 macro games? HOLY DOUBLE BACK FLIP BATMAN So you're saying because MVP decided to cheese in the last game of a Bo7, that made the game good? It was good because you didn't know who was going to win for a good portion of the game, it only became obvious in the last few seconds. I was entertained. So you're saying it was good because the situation made it entertaining for a casual observer, not because it was an actual legitimate display of skill... Honestly, I'm not hating on MVP for what he did. He won, and props to him for that. I'm just saying it wasn't a legitimately good game with respect to a showcase of skill and decision making. This... No one is hating on mvp for doing it, play to win, no shame in that. But after doing an scv allin and not doing damage you should be dead, period, and not be able to comeback because you catch a stalker out on the map... but catching a stalker is like killing 4 marines and i think he didn't pull the probes back fast enough, the time when artosis was like he should pull back! oh wait, maybe not at least, he should have microed the very front couple back to the mineral line so that they could regen he felt really ahead at that point, with like double worker count? (yeah he had mule tho so it wasn't that big, but i thought squirtle would be able to win ;_;) I guess partly was cus he was chrono'ing the WG (right?) and it didn't finish, so that hurt his production... otherwise he might have been able to chrono another unit out instead of wasting it on WG (idk how many he used on WG)

He wont pass the Ro32. He wont pass the Ro16 He cant beat Naniwa. He cant beat Parting. He cant beat Squirtle. Haters did a lot of talking and now they are outlined in chalk.

Really? Not even close. MVP has been dominating for over a year and a half. It's certainly "close" now, Dominating? After his last GSL victory more than 6 months ago he disappeared from the scene with bad results even in international events (wrists or not). One GSL made of cheeses, 2 base timings and allins (it's a statistic, not a "QQragenoobumad" thing) doesn't make him jump back into the #1 terran in the world chart So? Flash also had some bad tournaments due to his wrists and he's a bonjwa. but he had bad tournaments after he was bonjwa. and do you know what it took? wcg gold, 2 osl, 2 msl, proleague, proleague mvp, winners league, and being in the finals of every major tournament for a year. To compare to Flash is unfair though. Flash was the single most dominant player in the history of BW so comparing isnt really fair. I know that when you want to appoint the next bonjwa he will undoubtedly be compared to previous but lets compare his results to all of them and not just Flash. Do his results compare to the likes of Boxer, Oov, Nada, Flash and Voldemort. I would say not yet but its coming close. Its true, but you must remember that the term was coined to "Voldemort" first and retroactively applied to Boxer, Nada and Oov, with the term ending with Savior. I would say Mvp needs much more consistency and to get his wrists fixed asap. What i find most interesting of this series is that maybe Mvp found a way to play Tvp late late game instead of just turtling. If he had split his BCs he would have won that game

No slumps. I love Mvp, he's my favorite player. But he is no bonjwa. But this is rubbish, BW bonjwas had plenty of slumps during their reign. People are making the term more sacred than it ever was, with these standards half of the BW bonjwas would never have been labelled as such. This, just be honest guys. We all know you don't want the term Bonjwa to carry over from BW to SC2. I don't see why SC2 is so desperate to use the term bonjwa. I bet none of those who declare mvp bonjwa did watch a true one in his making

How the fuck is he a bonjwa in the GSL? It has been 10 months since his last GSL title. "Bonjwa is a term used to describe a player who dominates the StarCraft scene for a long period of time. A bonjwa has a very high winning percentage and successive title wins. However, a bonjwa is not defined by his statistics or records. Rather, a general consensus is reached that he is the most dominant progamer of his era." MVP has been dominant in short periods, not over a longer span of time, and there is definitely not a general agreement that he is one.

If I were a zerg or protoss player I'd seriously consider switching to Terran. As a Terran player I need not do any considering :D

We all know you don't want the term Bonjwa to carry over from BW to SC2. To me, a Bonjwa had an aura of invincibility/inevitability whenever he went up against anyone else. MVP just doesn't carry the same aura (probably because he isn't invincible in every single foreign event/team league). Personally, I just think it's a difference in the games. Until we always put MVP as the clearcut favorite in every MLG, IPL, Teamleague match, and GSL, he doesn't really live up to the name (which isn't his fault, I just think SC2 is harder to consistently dominate).

It was perfect timing for a cheese. His coach has a great sense of this it seems. That was a perfect finish after such long and drawn-out games, it was pretty intense and at one point any decent player out there( GM terrans included) thought that MVP could not win , so yea, perfect ending, mvp deserved this championship so much more than squirtle.
