The only foreign team that could probably do it is EG with Thorzain/Huk/Puma/JYP, but they would need a fifth to come and live in Korea for a sustained period.
Too bad Rising Star went off and died.
oGs isn't gone. Their players may have to eat grass for food but the team will still be there.

Oh no I hope forGG gets a good team ;_;

Nooo! We can't lose oGs! That would be just too tragic.

Well, I hope oGs doesn't disband. I thought, even without Nada, that they had probably the strongest Terran line-up with Prime.
Even if they have to become some new team name.

There was a time when any betting man would have picked oGs over SlayerS in the GSTL... here's hoping the remaining oGs guys figure something out, their closeness to TL players always made me unable to root against them.

This would be really sad... Man i hope the players get acquired quickly if this happened..

I'm sure liquid would find a way to help out. They've been close for over a year now.

Nice pic. Sad to see this hapenning.

Sad to see oGs disband, but considering how many good players they lost, it's wouldn't be surprise. I wonder what will happen with SuperNoVa, fOrGG and TheStC. Will they stay with TheWinD or will they try to go to other teams? Actually, I'd like to see Liquid'Fin ^^

Kespa teams have agreed not to do anything with SC2 players for a year or something like that. The main issue will be opportunistic foreigner teams potentially trying to grab players, but risking any chance of having respect in the Korean community. Might be interesting to see if anyone tries anything, especially when many are partnered with Korean teams.
I wonder what would happen if players (for example, ForGG and SuperNoVa, who still have strong connections/ties to KeSPA teams: KT & Woongjin) actively pursued a KeSPA team. If a KeSPA team comes away with ForGG or SuperNoVa they instantly become a championship contender in PL.

Sadly this is partly the managements fault. Zenex is barely surviving, but is doing better partially because of their management. oGs needs to sell their team better if they want to survive but as far as I can tell it may be too late.
|
Maybe it's for the good as they have a lot of expenses and without any skilled players left who will pay the bills?
|
I hope this isn't true but I'd be naive to think that there isn't anything to it.

Some of the reports say Spunky tried to sell the team, but no one was interested. I think its crazy how fast this went from being a rumor to reality.

A step closer to KESPA domination.

ZeNEX seems to be holding as the partnership with Legion shows.

And here come the first example of a sponsor going away from SC2 to go for a LoL team.

yeah, In Korea too, it must be emphasized. We know LoL is really big there, and SC2 is relatively bigger across the pacific, but it definitely bears paying attention to. It raised my eyebrows for sure.
I wonder how big of an organization estars holdings is-- is it marginal? does it sponsor a lot of stuff or just one thing?
