This is plain simply wrong.
MC left for SK, Hero was a relatively unknown player with no significant accomplishments back when he was signed by TL, NaDa left for Complexity as he wanted a new challenge and a big contract before he goes to the army, Zenio was gonna leave on his own anyway... And we're still waiting on confirmation on SuperNova.

:[ so sad to hear if it turns out to be true, always had a special place in my heart for ogs

winter is coming that why XD

What?
I guess you could say that they "bought" HerO, but Zenio left on his own and was then picked up by TL.

I'm worried more about liquid guys in there than the oGs team itself. Although its pretty sad to see this.

I totally see this coming. After they lost all their good players there aint much left.

Wow, ZeNex outlasted oGs?
Who would have predicted that.

So for now oGs as we know it is dead, but majority of the players have decided to stick with TheWinD and create a new team.

I'm actually curious about this. What does ZeNEX actually do/provide their players? AFAIK they closed down their training house and the players live and practice for home. I guess they still technically have some sort of coaching staff, which helps, but other than some "coaching" what exactly were the players getting? Exposure? I guess ZeNEX doesn't really have any star-power or name-value players... Maybe Life, but hes still an undeveloped talent..

Hate to be "that guy" but would be interesting if kespa teams made some offers.

It's not really a new team per se, because players and coaches will mostly be the same. Financially there would be a big difference though. Oh and the name change, which I hope they don't go through with.

That's what it sounds like. Its commendable. I want to say its for the GSTL (gives themselves exposure, as well as not "screwing over" gom), but chances are they'll be peaced out in the initial rounds and then the team actually will disband...

Damn, don't want to see oGs go, they used to be such a good team :/

Kespa said they will not recruit any current SC2 pro for at least a year.

That's really sad =/ oGs was the first sc2 team I really got into; my favorite team for the longest time. Makes sense that rumors of disbanding are floating and I wouldn't be terribly surprised if it were to happen soon. I still can't help but QQ, though ><

Also I wonder how GSTL is going to go down now. Do the teams playing oGs just get a free win or we will get a fill-in team? The only foreign team that could probably do it is EG with Thorzain/Huk/Puma/JYP, but they would need a fifth to come and live in Korea for a sustained period.
Too bad Rising Star went off and died.

Kespa teams have agreed not to do anything with SC2 players for a year or something like that.
The main issue will be opportunistic foreigner teams potentially trying to grab players, but risking any chance of having respect in the Korean community. Might be interesting to see if anyone tries anything, especially when many are partnered with Korean teams.
