With the amount of devoted fans we have here on TL.net, I think it's about time we have a solid support group community in case our favorite players have an off day and bum out of a tournament. Posting your disappointment in a player's fan club does not seem appropriate. Those threads are meant to support the players. This thread is meant to support the fans.
This support group is for everyone. Players will lose. Fans will be depressed. The hurt you are feeling will heal. The players you love will be back soon. But in the mean time...
Feel free to pour your heart out here. We won't judge!
WARNING: TOURNAMENT RESULTS SPOILER ABOUND

DRG died, I'm the sad. Should I
A: Chug 3 bottles of beer B: Play 10 games of SCII and win for DRG? C: Give up and go play another game D: Cry

Just drink the beer! You'll want to be having fun for when he goes to crush Code A!

I feel so demotivated... I don't even want to watch the GSL anymore... This is normal right?
Sucks being so emotionally invested in something. But I guess deep down, I knew days like these would come....just didn't expect it to be so soon.

Surely you have other favorite players! Like July! He's a baller.

There are two zergs left.... Nestea and July...both are insanely inconsistent lately.
Anyway, it is not the same. Nobody can replace DRG, just like nobody can replace MKP or MC. They're just so unique, their playstyle and personality.
Gah it hurts tonight. I feel like I just lost a liver.
First MLG and now this...

And Leenock! Surely an awesome, if small group of zerg players. July has his own unique style of "I crush you with my overwhelming zerg army at any point in the game" which I consider comparable to MC or Maru of their respective races.

Haha my fanboy sensor are tingling out of control in this thread.
All players have bad stints at times, DRG will pick himself back up at some point.

T_T our zerg hero!!
Solid advice: First A, then B, after failing B, go A again and then C and D at the same time, while adding in more A as needed.

Haha, I needed this support group badly quite a few times.

First steps to repentance.
This thread is surely needed on TL. Shouldn't be a blog.

I feel ya bro. I was a huge DRG before he was GSL champ (no hipster) since I played Zerg and he played Zerg, and he was such a charming fellow. But since Zerg is such a volatile race I decided to switched over to Random on ladder.
It's funny, when I was Zerg I would say to myself whenever I played against Terran that "Oh Terran ez pz a-move race cuz marine mule marauder stim OP" or against Protoss "Oh Protoss ez pz FFE and a-move with 200/200 deathball"
but ever since i started playing Random I found that Terran requires a tremendous amount of macro and micro and as a Protoss, your forcefield control makes or break you before the late game.
Since then, I've came to appreciate not just Zerg pros, but Terran and Protoss pros as well.
I am not saying you need to play Random. But by expanding your horizon and try different races you might find undiscovered treasures that you might otherwise never be able to just by sticking to one race.
With that being said, DRG FIGHTING!!!! COME BACK TO CODE S BABY

I don't expect either NesTea or July to make it to the end let alone quarterfinals.
At least he still has a shot to take down as many nerds as possible in GSTL.

I'm still hurting from Boxer's loss in the Iron Squid. He was so close!

Its like i watch ST_Squirtle play or Liquid`HerO play and i get emotionally invested in them lol. To a lesser extent, PartinG and Sage, but i feel like a forum should exist for this kind of sad QQ, like and SC2 general thread .

I'm sorry for everyone who felt the pangs of defeat. I know this feeling several times in BW cheering for Jaedong when he just somehow couldn't get past Flash.

I agree that it shouldn't be relegated to blogs where it will forever die off. I think it's a thread that could really be needed in TL. The danger is just other fanboys coming in to lick the tears of the defeated, but mods should be able to help with that.

I know exactly how you feel Neo. I felt the same way when Flash's unbeaten streak this season was ended. It made me not want to watch any Brood War for over a week.

So many champions have fallen already, this season of code S is sure to give me a heart attack. DRG: you will be missed.
