Kasaraki Denmark7115 Posts February 06 2013 12:39 GMT #95 Hello, my name is Kasaraki, and today my favourite player lost (Seed), my favourite team (LG-IM) went 0/5 in the first round of Code A, including the player whose fanclub I maintain (First) - but even worse than all of those things, Mvp, King JJ, the King of Wings, the Game Genie Terran, fell out of the GSL, into Code B, with all his teammates. It seems the end of WoL will be a painful one. For some teams and players, this might be an opportunity to start practicing HotS, but for IM this is a huge blow. Why? Because they have a lot of WoL tournaments and events in the future - the big one being IPTL quarterfinals against EG, which they should win, and if they do, they will have a ton of players on top of the already qualified YongHwa attending the big IPL6 tournament - a WoL tournament. They have IEM WC too, and perhaps a MLG somewhere? So there's no room for a HotS headstart even in all the bad news - and even while practicing WoL, there's no guarantee of it bearing any fruit in form of results. Apart from this, I am a person of habit and a person who wants there to be a legacy - like many other people I wish to see the great players be consistent, and with us always. I dislike randomness, I don't often like underdogs or new players either. On top of this I like racial variety, I don't have a favourite race. To me, Mvp was the head of terran - not only symbolically, but literally. The only terran to be in a GSL final for the entirety of 2012 was Mvp. He was so dominating that the terrans without a leader look silly and disoriented, like a dying race. Sometimes I like to compare Mvp to Tetsou from Akira. Not in personality, but specifically with regard to his body. Both are people you could think of as having psychic/mental powers beyond us mere mortals. Tetsou's powers grow so strong they expand beyond the confines of his body. For Tetsou, this results in his body mutating hideously, absorbing the sorrounding objects and people to expand his physical form. For Mvp, his great powers simple caused his body to break down. Both bodies destroyed because of immense psychic powers. Throughout 2012, Mvp played purely through this psychic potential, with his body gone. But now, his willpower isn't strong enough to carry the weakened body in constant pain. For Tetsou, the end comes in the form of a giant explosion, after which he seems to go to a higher plane of existance/gain a higher understanding, through fusing with the psychic children. For Mvp, will the end be slowly fading away, while we are left wondering about what could have been?

DRG and Mvp gone from code S Another GSL ruined TT I regret paying so much money for it already... Don't worry about Mvp's legacy. It will be remembered for generations. He is and will always be the greatest Wings of Liberty player that ever walked this planet.
