While this thread is labeled "DotA2", this is in fact a community thread first. Many of the users in the TL LoL subforum have been playing as friends for over a year now, so it makes logical sense that they would want to play other games together. Do not compare DotA2 to LoL, you will get banned. TL LoL veterans know what is expected. Newcomers be warned. gl hf

I might do a brief item guide anyway. Then just make note that it isnt a good item. Better to write that its like IE but not that good usually than let me see that on a wiki somewhere and say "OOH LOOKIE ITS IE MUST GET!"

Even just looking at it for a few minutes there's also items that have no comparison at all, not even slightly similar comparisons(Ghost Scepter, Hand of Midas, Medalion.. this list could get pretty long).

The damage reduction is equivalent with that. And there's no % penetration/flat penetration/% reduction/flat reduction priority queue. If it reduces armor, it reduces armor, and can make armor go negative.

Queen of pain is way to item dependent to learn as your first hero. Even when leveling skills, for example if you are against certain heroes maxing Q can lead to an easier mid lane, but less of a ganking presence. (bloodseeker) etc. Also items are entirely dependent on the overall hero composition. Although hex is good, maybe you should build linkens against their team setup etc.

Assault Cuirass - old stark's fervor minus lifesteal with an additional armor aura Arcane Boots - boots 2 with clarity summoner spell ability Should also point out that Linken's is a Banshee's that only blocks TARGETED spells, but is also on half the recharge rate

Spam s or h while either standing closest to the creep you want to last hit(then you just stop spamming when you want to hit it), or do the above then right click the creep you actually want to hit(probably a better idea in case the target you automatically acquire isn't the right one).

That's a pretty significant difference. You can die by getting pasted by a nuke when you're a ghost, you're completely invuln while zhonyaing. The only similarity pretty much is: physical attacks can't hurt you when you activate the item.
