As far as those speculating on match-fixing: sure, it's definately puzzling why NesTea would throw 27 broods through the mid when Mvp had already revealed his mass ghosts 3 minutes earlier (which sniped 6 broods), but that far into a high pressure game is something none of you have experienced. Maybe your fanboyism is not letting you accept the result?

Watch how you approach the topic of match fixing. You can speculate, saying "I'm not so sure about the finals, something doesn't sit right with me," but if you are going to outright accuse players of match fixing you need something more than your word. TL takes match fixing/abuse seriously and as such there is a burden a proof when you are accusing players. - p4NDemik

Damn. That's disappointing. On October 23 2011 13:05 SharkWithLaz0rs wrote: He's a three time GSL champion. I find it extremely hard to believe that he "isn't known for mzing control or multitaksing." Says who? How is he a three time champ without being amazing at those aspects of the game? I don't buy it. The thing that I can't get over is that he simply let his mineral lines saturated with drones get nuked twice. Even one mineral line being nuked is a major mistake. It happened twice in this game. That's absolutely inexcusable. I just find it hard to believe that a three time GSL champion could make a critical, easy to avoid error like that not once but twice. He may not have cared when he got nuked those two times. He had way too many drones for his huge bank of resources and may have just decided to spend his apm elsewhere. One thing to consider is that Nestea isn't used to playing this many tournament matches in this short of a time. He has one match per week in the GSL. On top of that he may have been very jet lagged. I didn't agree with some of his decisions - but that's easy to say when you're observing a game with all the information in front of you and none of the fatigue. I was rooting for Nestea, but MVP played better in their last two series. He deserved the win.

As far as the last battles goes, making 27 brood lords at once for any reason is dumb. There's no point in having that many. Sending them in without any cover when you know your opponent has vikings and ghosts is dumb. Clumping up your few infestors so that a single EMP can wipe them all out is dumb. Losing entire mineral lines repeatedly to nukes is dumb.

I guess you guys never played Starship Troopers. It just doesn't work. If your army gets sacked, and remax. You will die to constant drop pressure.Especially if Terran moves forward and cut your bases in 5.

He would need to be constantly larva injecting on over 10 hatcheries to do that which would be absolutely ridiculous to do while also keeping up with everything else. He would need like 150 larva for ever remax. On October 23 2011 14:02 Fearest wrote: A moving marines/banelings to MVP? I guess you guys never played Starship Troopers. It just doesn't work. You significantly underestimate 150 supply of ling/bling. Ling/bling is actually one of the most supply efficient combos in the game usually in the mid-late game battles we see there is less ling/bling supply than marine/tank supply. In this case with all the ghosts/vikings and the fact that he had more scvs than nestea had drones he would not have been able to deal with maxed ling/bling.

To me it looked like a great player nestea lost to another great player that played a little more great in that series. MVP lost the first series pretty badly. So why the difference? Who knows starcraft 2 certainly seems pretty random a lot of times.

Anything? Banelings, archon toilet. You also have to understand how expensive and hard to mass ghosts are. You can't just get 1 infestaion pit and then mass 20 of them at once, like zerg. You have to make mulitple barracks and make them one at a time, not to mention they have a long build time. Ghosts have to be that effective to make up for their cost. It was really nestea's fault for not being more aggresive when he had more than 10 thousand in the bank.

WTF did you guys forgot ghost have EMP, he did BRING 5 infestors and all of them are EMPed, and he cant stay longer because the longer he was turtling the better the Terran become, It is 6 base vs 4 base situation in Shakura Plateau when TvZ become split map, because terran can do so much stuff to take Zerg base out, Drop Nuke safdsafdsf, what do you guys think he could have done there, Mass bling Zergling ???? MVP HAS TANK + PF I knew mass ling would counter GHOST but masslings <<<<<<<< PF + tank in middle of the map. He tried Ultralisks, but ghost raped them too, what else??? late game muta are not effective, infestor get EMP... what else....hmm I am trying to remember something,... Zerg has zergling, baneling, queen, roach, hydra, infestor, muta, corruptor, ultralisk, broodlord. Ah Roach hydra hahaha, Can you imagine roach hydra against terran with tank PF and have trilions tons of barracks. Give me a solution to counter that please, someone ssaid produce and reproduce mass zergling and banelings, It is extremely risky and gimmicky against PF + tank in middle of the map like that, ghost are not good against them but not that terrible. He have to make a decision and he chose infestors broodlords, which result in a loss because all of infestor get EMP and broodlords get snipe by Ghost and dont forget guys 20 viking on MVP side. Someone said the doomdrop did no damage and he leave a lot of banelings in the overlord, I think his purpose was to leave them there and drop them over the ghost and tank, But he forgot or did not expect the overlord to be sniped that fast by ghost before reaching them. And also, he did rebuild his base but he got completely nuked and drop to death......he did bank 13k + 6k gas, but when he GG did you see his mineral and gas ??? all < 1000, it is the cost of 27 Blords. And while MVP did not bank 13k but also about 5k min 4k gas, and while on 6 base with no way the zerg can punish. This match is not fixed, people who thinks it is fixed just completely forgot how difficult it is to remain calm and make perfect decision under the pressure. He get nuked 3 places at ONCE while getting drop at 3 different places. How can he react to that, Plus Ghost have cloaked and he did not knew when he is nuked. Anybody who has gone brood/coruptor/infestor before, know that u need as much cover for your broods as you need brood lords. Every zerg player died a little bit inside seeing that
