If both sides benefit from this then there is nothing wrong. Korean culture, blah blah blah, they need to understand this is a GLOBAL game. Their culture and high moral standards are not the norm for the rest of the world and you either sign your players to legally binding contracts or expect them to get better, more lucrative offers and gladly accept them. Anyone saying what Puma did here is wrong is delusional. Scenario A: Puma stays with TSL, has to bank his ENTIRE sc2 tournament winnings on ONE tournament, and rarely leaves Korea for international tournaments. We'll assume hes getting paid, but obviously less than he would with EG. Scenario B: Puma joins EG, gains a higher salary, and travels all over the world to multiple events while gaining notoriety and more opportunities for cash prizes. Yea.... I'd like to see how many people take Scenario A. It's very simple. Had EG contacted TSL for the said player "PuMa", it's more than likely that TSL agreed to having the player join the team EG and everyone would have been happy. But because EG went behind the player's team and his coach/manager, we now ended up with this retarded fiasco. That makes sense. Sirscoots:"Hey Coach Lee we want you're best player" Coach Lee: Sure Scoots! Now would that make any sense xD Right.... so the other option must be to steal the player behind the team's back. That makes even more sense If TSL and Lee feel betrayed, they shouldn't sit with their back to the door.

The only one there is to blame is the headcoach of TSL he should have provided binding contracts to his players. GL to EG and Puma

BTW, I mean football when I say football, not handegg. Anyhow best wishes to Puma, he amazed me at NASL and hope he does great things at EG.

hmmm it's not April 1st.... But seriously, this is a big surprise. Major gain by EG. Feel kinda sorry for TSL. This is yet another debilitating blow after losing FD and Tester to ST. They pretty much only have Killer and Clide remaining as top competitors. I remember for a brief period people thought they were the strongest sc2 team in the world. ;;

Bravo! Bravo! /me rolls "eyes" -SirScoots' twitter http://twitter.com/#!/SirScoots/status/93944977545109504 two sides to every story! Nope. It's more like two stories to each side - the real one, and the one they'll grace the public with. But oh well - roll out the EG damage control PR squad again. I don't see a side there. I see Scoots vaguely pissing on TSL statements without offering an explanation himself. Sure he's with Alex working out a nice PR side to what they did. Holy shit dude give it a rest. It's the middle of the night in America and presumably didn't know the TSL coach was going to make a press release. Obviously they are having a secret meeting plotting their lies right at this moment. It's not like Scoots could be unhappy (just like the TSL coach is) that this announcement was made without their side of the story and they haven't prepared a press release yet. You've obviously made up your mind already, however, so I doubt it will matter to you.

Yeah EG is doing bad Yeah EG is doing bad, idra isn't. One player doesn't make a team! But i mean several teams have only one player perform, what liquid player has done anything (recently) besides HuK? what oGs player besides MC. The list goes on...stop just hating on EG cause it makes you sound stupid Jinro won MLG Dallas and made Code S ro4 twice, Ret won Assembly. oGsTOP won code A, oGsInca code S finals, to name a few. He asked RECENTLY...none of those recent other than Inca Nobody in EG won anything significant recently. Oh... except Puma I guess. Heh. So the IPL Season 1 isnt big enough for the big and mighty eSports follower Talin. $2500 first place prize for an online tournament done through replays. Idra got payed more for doing a showmatch to launch the tournament that PuMa just won, which was done over 8 weeks, ending with a live weekend LAN event.

"There needs to be a system to stop foreign teams from stealing Korean players like this" Ah, the hilarity. Sounds vaguely familiar, but back then it had more of a "There needs to be a system to stop Korean players from stealing our prize money like this" ring to it. Protectionism at its finest.
