Ive read some of your comments, I respect your perspective. You feel like this deal with down with a lack of respect on EGs part. My perspective is this: -TSL appears to be a dysfunctional team based on them losing 4 of their top players within a matter of weeks. -If puma was really enjoying his time with TSL, he wouldnt have left so abruptly. -EG doesnt need to respect TSL by contacting them first. The only way I see a problem here is if Puma had a legally binding contract with TSL that he chose to ignore.

Grats to Puma. Obviously EG offered something that he was wanting that he was not able to get from TSL. It was all his choice. So what if TSL had no plans/funds to fly Puma around the world to go to global tournaments? If Puma was stuck in an only 'GSL 4 life' environment I don't blame him. Yes the korea sceene has the best/top skilled players...but you can't say that korea has the best/top scene for Starcraft2. Prizemoney, events, opportunities are much better in SC2 in the rest of the world than within Korea.

Give them time and surely EG will give one, they haven't dodged anything controversial in the past. Well why should they wait? It only opens up speculations as to what REALLY happened... It seems like a really impulsive move otherwise, by all rights they should have had a statement ready as soon as puma was considering the possibility of jumping ships. There's just no excuse.

They wouldn't go without a press release about their biggest signing since Idra. The TSL coach had a teary and we became aware of the situation obviously before EG was ready to announce it. EG will release details soon I'm sure.

If I was a Korean player right now, I'd be highly interested in all the deals that MC, Rain, Puma, NaDa are making with foreign teams. And would likely be pretty frustrated if my team was too scared about poaching to send me out to foreign events should I wish to go. It's not just about the teams here. The players are individuals with goals and cares that should be respected as well.

(BINDING contract, because there are plenty of contracts with "at-will" termination from both sides - meaning the contract is there to state agreed-upon terms, but either side can cancel at any time.)

We don't know that and it probably wasn't, Lee is implying he was under contract and agreed to grant his wish to leave. Great way to waste your first post.
