There may be other minor differences but that's the major one. Note that TK lacks the arrows keys in a way but they are accesible on the numpad so you still have arrowkeys. Also one major thing is that TK has backlightning and the Rapid hasnt. Also to note is that TK is built from another company than the Rapid. The Rapid is made by Costar the "best" manufacturer for keyboards while TK is made by some other slighly less quality company. So the Rapid is more quality made than the TK but if you want a cheap backlighted keyboard thats really good for its price, the TK is a really good choice.

No frills keyboard, but built like a brick. I own one and it's great, but I only wish it came with a wrist rest.

I just got myself a CMStorm Quickfire TK (Brown) and it's pretty awesome so far. It's my first Mech keyboard so I can't really compare it to everything else, but the reviews i've seen on it give it REALLY good ratings. I also got it at a crazy cheap price too which is nice. I would definitely reccomend it after 2 days of use! ![]() I had to google TKL (lol) to see what it meant. It's a wierd one as its a new layout with TKL size but the arrow/numpad are combined making it a pretty cool dual function.

Because different keyboards are good buys in different regions of the world. But probably CM quickfire rapid, quickfire TK, leopold fc700r (many korean pros use it).

Dedicate like half an hour a day to practice, think about it when you are laying in bed at night, you should get a lot better faster. As long as you don't have any major problems with how you type, you should rocket up quite quickly. I can type 100-150wpm depending on the test, even though it's crippled by my only using thumb, pinky and one finger on my right hand - so basically 1 of the 3 fingers, once spacebar, backspace, etc are taken care of Especially with Dvorak, screw slow crawl to 80wpm, go 100 in a month or die trying, i believe in you ;D

The wrist-rest itself is fine, the fact that it didn't come with any slippy pads is pretty bad though. It slips all over the place unless you do some DYI. Personally i contact-glued some inner tubing to the bottom and it never goes anywhere anymore. I've heard the filco leather wristrest is a lot better because it has an iron bar or something inside the rest.

I have a post many pages back about buying mechanicals in China. If you're going to be in/near shenzhen you'll have even more options. At the very least, taobao.com can be a good place to buy cheap keycool/noppoo/hpe tenkeyless boards. Not everything is cheaper. The tax system can make most electronics be way more expensive than in the US, about on par with Europe.

Obviously all good from outside China are more expensive due to the tax and customs but those Noppoo are actually worth buying.
