Just an addendum to the recommendation of specific brands: if you're using linux, you may want to avoid the newer generation noppoos. They don't work so hot on current linux drivers (some guy wrote a patch for OSX so mac should be ok). Another warning to make sure you check that the keyboard works before bringing it back from China :p

Reliable brand and good price for ~$90 (https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=383) yes? Also, are keycaps easily replaceable for this? I'm not sure how white it is but I want it to somewhat match my SS Frost Blue headset. Cheap but it has a decent reputation. The keycaps are standard so should be fully replaceable (except the spacebar is a little weird) but it might be hard to find keys with the little windows for the backlit keys to shine through (caps, scroll lock etc).

The K70 should be fully mechanical compared to their two other previous mechanical keyboards. They'll be red switches. It does look promising, I'll admit that. Although, I will reserve judgement until someone who knows what they're talking about posts a decent review on it when it comes out.

This is also the so called newer version that has no Coolermaster logos except for one (which you can't even see), so this is basically a Filco once you change the keycaps! So goddamn awesome. Btw, MX Reds are badass. Don't mean to be mean but that version has been the main one for a few months now, I got mine around January in the U.K. and it came with no branding besides the one logo at the opposing face (the side you can't see that you mentioned). Absolutely gorgeous piece of kit to type and play on and has held up fine, and I love mine with the reds too. How much was it in Finland?

Ah, I didn't actually even know that they made these boards without the branding before I bought mine. Even the store I ordered it from still had the old keyboard in the photo. Good thing they removed them, this is such a beautiful keyboard without them.It was 90 euros, so about 120 USD or £77. Actually one of the cheapest mechanical keyboards here, so incredibly good quality for the price!

Yeah but the TK is just as good.. if not better for the price (you get backlighting and a full numpad with the same size board) Source : I have the QFR and my friend has the TK.

There's nothing broken about the keyboard, it's just a different design. There are old Cherry keyboards that lasted over a decade. You should know the keyboard sold as "soft tactile" (or something along those lines) is not a brown MX switch. It's a "clear" MX switch that's about as heavy as the black switches. The keyboards sold as "click" and "linear" are normal blue and black switches. I didn't like the labeling on the black Cherry G80-3000 I have. It uses thick white paint and you can feel the raised labels. I don't know if that's the case with all black Cherry G80-3000. The light gray ones are lasered and I like that better. While it doesn't have n-key rollover, I don't really remember terrible problems playing FPS games with crouching, sprinting, etc. while using WASD as the movement keys with weapons and stuff on QERF12345ZXCV and CapsLock for push-to-talk. well i don't play fps, it's for starcraft only (and the occasional league game...i know)

I'm not sure how white it is but I want it to somewhat match my SS Frost Blue headset. I (probably) have the same keyboard with brown switches (it says "keycool k-5-w" and "keycool 500" on its label). It looks like it has the slightest bit of red/pink color mixed into its white plastic. It's not snow white. There's something about the lettering that feels off to me. Font choice and position seems strange compared to other keyboards. The Space Bar was rattling a bit. I greased all stabilizers (for Space bar, Shift, Enter, Backspace) with vaseline to fix that. Overall, I still like the keyboard. It feels sturdy and I got it for 60 or 70 EUR (I don't quite remember). EDIT: Another thing: it has n-key-rollover not only through its PS/2 adapter (which works fine), but also has n-key rollover over USB. It accomplishes this by showing up as two USB keyboards and one USB mouse in the Device Manager. It seems to work fine for Windows, but there's no switch to turn that off. It could perhaps cause problems when using MacOS or Linux.

The compact design is a space saver, also great keys to type with. Very low resistance and latency.
