It is all opinion, there is no best switch and no switch you can't use for whatever purpose.
A huge amount of pros use blue switches and do just fine. I always use blues for SC2, I think they are great.
You do have a point that if you do not let the key go high enough to reset then blues could cause problems for you doubletapping. Something to be aware of when looking at blue switches, not something that precludes ever gaming with blue switches.

I'm going to try another round of Dt-35 before I get my next mecha keyboard. Feel I misclick too much with mecha these days.

There is nothing wrong with it afaik, solid keyboard if you want to support Prime.
Dunno about what layouts are available.

Haven't heard anything too negative about it. If you like the looks and such, go ahead and buy it, especially if you want to support prime / esports or whatever

Any help? im interested on buying it but id like some feedback be4 i do so Judging by the quality of my Tt MEKA (the small one) and considering G1 should be better since it is produced by Costar, I would say you cant go wrong. The plain MEKA is built like a tank, Im pretty sure you can make body armor out of those so G1 and its Prime edition should be quite awesome.

i am still pretty sure it's going to be more comfortable than my low profile laptop keys that i have currently or the rubber dome dell keyboard i have been using from time to time.
besides, probably won't matter much to me. i like the click and will probably end up typing more than gaming. thanks for you input though

This is merely opinion. I'm a high master Protoss in 1v1 and I've used blues exclusively. I don't know when you'd ever have to double tap a key without letting your finger go of it in SC2 unless you had to be very specific in the number of units you were creating, but it's not like you can't quickly press that key say five times and still get the job done. A lot of pros use blues/browns fyi. Reds and blacks are definitely the minority. That being said and done I'd still probably play the same with a membrane keyboard, I just would miss the sound of my switches and the comfort is all. Most keyboards will not really hinder or improve your performance unless its maybe a chiclet, which is why there isn't a definitive switch that we tell people to get when they're looking for a mechanical keyboard.

Been using my Das Keyboard Ultimate S with the brown switches for a almost month now, and they are fantastic, to type and to game on, and the blank keys, in my opinion, look awesome=D
I definitely do not regret this purchase at all and fully recommend this keyboard for anyone who is looking for a solid mechanical keyboard with brown switches.

just ordered my g80-3000 with mx clears :D
maybe now I can finally unlearn bottoming out - I never achieved this with my black keyboards (and certainly not with my mx red keyboard)

Blackwidow (at least some older models) only allowed you to press 2 keys simultaneously in many cases
Are the Razor keyboards any good?
Not really

that's sad . anyone know if SteelSeries 6gv2 / 7g / TT Meka can register 3 buttons at once?

Can anyone recommend me some keyboards that I can get from China? My friend is going there over summer, and I wanted to see if I can get a keyboard. Thanks!

I'm using a 6vg2, and it's registering 3 key presses at once

1) Try to buy off of taobao if at all possible (may need local assistance) 2) If you really can't buy off of taobao, there are some e marts if you're in a big city, but as a foreigner you're kinda asking to get ripped off there (both by the seller and by pickpockets lol). Do your research on prices, be prepared to haggle, be prepared to walk away.**** (more advice about buying from e mart below)
Sub 300 RMB used to be more common, but from a look now that appears to no longer be the case. No more <$50 mechanicals
Blaec's advice about specific models is pretty good. HPE, keycool, and noppoo all make boards in 87 key format for 300-400 RMB, and they're pretty similar. Noppoo also makes a fucked up 84 key mini if you want. Keep in mind that different sub stores on taobao will charge different amounts for different switches (and it's not entirely intuitive from their UI). Look around, one store may charge 330 RMB for blues and 450 for reds, while another store may charge 300 for reds and 400 for blues.
Also, switch mappings:
switch - "axle" or w/e, (zhou, 轴)
红轴 red switch 黑轴 black switch 茶轴 brown switch (literally translates to "tea") 青轴 blue switch (literally translates to some kind of green-blue dealy)
Also be careful if you're specifically trying to buy black, because a lot of the keyboards will be "black keyboard with blue switches" or w/e, so if you're just blindly picking out a character you can mess that up. If you want black switches you're specifically looking for 黑轴, NOT 黑色 (that literally means black as in the color, they mean the color of the board). 白色 is a white board.
As a general rule, it's really not cheaper to buy electronics in China. iPhone for instance is way more expensive than it is stateside. But, Chinese mechanical keyboards are one of the exceptions
**** If you go to an e mart, make sure you bring a laptop and test that shit on the spot! Lots of fake electronics in the cheaper places: external hard drives that have tiny usb flash sticks inside instead of an actual hard drive, enclosures that just look right but are actually the wrong form factor altogether, phones that are not actually phones, cables and plugs that don't even follow proper spec - like a usb port that's so short any actual usb plug will hang 3/4 of the way out, etc. People will sell you this shit and not even bat an eye. And then vigorously deny it if you go back and harass them.

I have tried up to 6 presses on TT Meka over USB and there is no problem. Over ps2 it should be able to register up to 16 presses.

Ooooh, gonna get my CM Storm QFR (MX Reds) tomorrow. Planning to paint it snow white and change all the keycaps to white ones. Gonna be sick!
Using a 6Gv2 now and even though I like this board, the MX Blacks just piss me off.
