If you're asking this question, I have to ask what you need an enthusiast rig for.

You should back up all your important data before doing anything. After installing the new hardware, doing a fresh install of Windows is highly reccommended.

oh i thought that you needed to use a program to wipe everything first. wasnt sure if it would boot with all AMD chipset drivers in the registry still

You boot from windows bootable media, like a DVD or USB drive, to avoid that issue. That's why you do the fresh install.
From there, you can format during windows install.

1 more question now that i have my proc is the xsplit full version worth it? Its the only stream app i know how to use and i like it a lot more than flme + dxtory

OS: Windows 7 64 bit
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Processor: Intel Core i7 3770K processor 3.5 4 LGA 1155 BX80637I73770K

Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 560 1024 MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 2DVI/Mini-HDMI SLI Ready Graphics Card, 01G-P3-1460-KR
I checked bios and my cpu temperature is going up to 74 C and I think this is way too high. Does anybody know what would be causing this? All my fans are running fine. I've been able to stream using split, have multiple streams open and have starcraft 2 open and nothing goes wrong with my computer. I ordered some arctic silver 5 thermal paste. Is thermal paste what i'm missing?
edit: actually thermal paste was already on the cpu fan.

Would probably still boot, but a fresh install is best. You don't want to run into issues with Windows looking for drivers or devices which are no longer there. A quick format is all that is needed, don't even need to wipe the drive.

Without a license for Xsplit the best audio encoding you can use is speex, which is really crappy. Buying a license gives you access to ACC and a few other higher quality codecs, which if you plan on having actual stream viewers would probably be required.

74C isn't bad at all, I'm assuming that's at full load? Honestly if you're not even breaking 80 I don't know that that's anything to worry about. Your profile says you're in the US, so as summer goes on and ambient room temperatures go up your system will have higher temps, that's just sort of the breaks of air cooling.

edit: actually thermal paste was already on the cpu fan. If that's at stock I'd wager you mounted the heatsink poorly. Different types of thermal paste won't make a difference, but if you remount it it certainly could potentially make a world of difference.

this might be a little different and not exact;y tech support but how do you get you taskbar to always be accesible even in game like a lot of pros do when they stream?
hopefully this is the right place to ask

hopefully this is the right place to ask Do you mean taskbar on top? If you use Windowed(fullscreen) mode you can access the taskbar on top of the game with the windows key (or ctrl + escape) and have other windows open on top of starcraft.

Is there something that could be wrong with my pc? Or am I just expecting too much from my setup?
Quoting so I can hopefully get an answer. Also, if you need anymore info let me know.

Nothing is wrong with the PC. It is, in fact, performing as expected. The "suggested" settings are not a very good suggestion at all, because your CPU is somewhere on the lower~middle end for SC2.
Your graphics card is fine - SC2 puts a very light load on the graphics card, even at 1920x1080.
You can play with medium ~ high GPU settings (such as shaders and textures), but turn down all of your CPU settings such as Physics. You should be able to see which are CPU settings - when you hover your mouse over something, there's a tooltip that describes the setting.
That should increase your FPS a lot.

The problem with your PC is the shitty processor. Welcome to the club. We have online meetings every Friday, but everyone always misses them because it takes too long for our PCs to load.
But seriously, your CPU is over two years old. Despite being clocked at 3Ghz, the performance of the entire Phenom II line is pretty far behind an i5 or comparable intel processor, and SC2 can only utilize two cores of a CPU so the fact that it's a quad core doesn't necessarily mean anything.

It's probably is okay, it's possible that the 2011 socket just doesn't require pins in those locations (guessing). Though other pictures of the 2011 socket I've found aren't missing those pins so I'm not entirely sure. If it's not okay, it's unlikely that it could damage the CPU.
But this is why everyone in this thread has been telling you all along to buy brand new hardware, not used/returned/open box stuff. You have continually ignored us about that for some reason.

How do you know Sc2 supports only 2 cores? Proof please.

SkyR told me. That counts as evidence around here.
Besides that, a quick google will show up a number of tech articles about it:
