Damn hard? Sure, every match-up is damn hard.
Really Zerg favored? ...Not historically.

Terrans are hilarious with their angst. Welcome to the sad club, we've been waiting so long. Enjoy coming up with new strategies!

Mmmmm I like one of the first responses to this thread. It's still far too early after the patch was implemented for us to judge just how badly the buff will affect TvZ in the future. IMO just wait for the korean terrans to figure this shit out and then replicate them. Same that has been done for the last 2 years.

I hope that TvZ corrects itself according to the patch changes over time, because right now it's kind of sad, seeing as it was (imo) the most fun-to-watch matchup in the game before this.

Terran's are consistently the only race that creates tons of unique and standard build orders. Not sure what you are implying.

I predict the graph for April will be the most Zerg favored yet, probably going to beat Terrans all time high. Dont see anyone stopping Symbol and Life from their tear through GSTL.

Yes, weh have seen the frequent buildorder style:
"I have found a build that auto wins you by the 10 minute mark at the latest" "oh got nerfed" "No matter I found another one" "damn nerfed again" "Here have you ever tried this units? You can actually end the game at 9 Minutes without risk" "damn blizzard why is taht shit nerfed again? Terra is historically the weakest!" "Haha I just experimented with 2 old builds lately and tried a fusion, gets you a win at 10 Minutes!" "Blizz is just plain stupid, we only have a 55% winrate in korea and the are still buffing the others"
Was that the kind of changes you had in mind?

I want to see Terrans adapt to the game instead of creating builds that abuse the other races. And ofcourse terrans make the most strategies because it has such a good design that allows it. That doesn't mean every build out there is smart or deserves attention.

I don't know what's the point of inventing new strategies because everytime a terran comes up with a new strategy it's immediately nerfed into the ground.

I'm implying that from what I see, things aren't nearly as bad in TvZ as things were in TvP when the 1 1 1 came out. The OP is pretty sure things will only get worse until the balance-pocalypse comes and all worthy players ascend to heaven. Yeah nah someone is going to figure out a new meta and the game will evolve and everything will be buttery.

Haha 61-39, always new zerg was way more imba than protoss. Will only get worse too ![](/mirror/smilies/puh2.gif)

Well, I agree that something has to be done in TvZ. Reduce the queen range to 4 maybe?

posts like this just amuse me
what new metagame do you suggest? Without buffs, the TvZ lategame is zerg-favoured, terran can't remax nearly as fast and trading with BL-infestor is ridiculously hard.
So we need a metagame that allows us to win before the lategame, or enter the lategame with a solid advantage. How can we accomplish that?
- Harrass the zerg: We have reapers, banshees and hellions to harrass, queens own them all even when outnumbered, and every zerg goes at least 3 queens nowadays. Not viable anymore.
- Go quick third and try to get ahead in econ: Get owned by any roach pressure into third or roach/ling/bling allin (I'll refer you to GSTL if you don't believe me). Even if the zerg lets you get your econ up, you haven't pressured them at all so their econ will be ridiculous too, and you'll still be behind in the lategame.
So tell us, oh wise Probe1, what metagame revolutions are you thinking of?

Er. Surely that is adapting to the game, abusing the weaknesses of other races. Terrans do it consistantly - TvP is all about avoiding the autowin 3/3 deathball. Same in TvZ - since the ghost nerf, it's all about finding some way of dealing with the inevitable T3 deathball.
Sure, Terrans can get their own deathball (the mech deathball) but it's also massively expensive and extremely difficult to replace with a number of severe weaknesses that simply don't exist in the other two deathballs because P and Z casters are ten times stronger than their Terran equivalents.

Not really its the most objectively wrong opinion i have ever heard in my life. I didn't want to actually have to debate with you because I honestly thought you were trolling.
Let's take a look at the reactor hellion expand.
-Zergs start spreading creep -Terrans find it hard to put pressure on after the standard 2 rax at the time did damage unless you followed it up with a 4 rax all in -Some guy made the reaction hellion build to contain creep spread and deny the third until tons of roaches or mutas came out -Zergs make more queens to push back hellions to let creep not be contained and to take a faster third -Terrans make 6 hellions instead of 4 -Lots of zergs do roach all ins because they know with a reaction hellion expand its hard to hold -Terrans go banshees to counter the all in if it comes and to also deny the third and contain the creep even longer -Zergs make even more queens -Terrans start making a raven with their 2 banshees for PDD to let them get some free kills and deny the third even longer
Please don't post dumb random shit like;
-xD 2 rax l0l imba as fuq -aww shit nerfed xD must find another thing
Just please dont.

tvp 49,3% - 50,7% tvz 45,1% - 54,9% zvp 52,5% - 47,5%
meaning protoss is 50.7% against terran.

lol I don't know, Maybe TSLPunisher going Mech-Banshee and crippling TLO to 2 base just 5 minutes ago is a good avenue too pursue. Or mope about it, idgaf
-Mech+Air in TvZ was viable months ago but I never saw it become popular because it was just too easy to do the same stuff every single game. Whatever. Every single month we play roulette with which group is going to feel justified whining until the next month.
