IIRC the biggest difference was 5% in favour of Z in international TvZ but 4% in favour of T in Korea.

Thats not what I was expecting to see in the Korean TvZ stats. From what I gathered GSTL was massively Zerg favored in TvZ (some1 mentioned 73% at the last count), GSL was pretty 50-50 and Terrans have been getting destroyed in the TSL4 KR qualifiers. Perhaps Terrans have been doing really well in those ESV Korean Weekly tournaments and some others? (I can't actually find TSL4 on the KR TLPD, so that would further balance things)

The issue is that it's extremely difficult to actually get them. Starports with tech labs are extremely expensive, and you can't build reactored Vikings using those starports. The other primary issue is it requires 5 different upgrades. To make 1 upgraded raven you are spending over 1k/2k, to actually build them Terrans need to put a massive amount of resources into a heavy tech switch. Either allowing Ravens to be reactored (won't happy) or having them start with several upgrades (Energy, Durable materials at the minimum imo) is the easiest way to fix TvZ. That or just revert the queen change <_<

(I can't actually find TSL4 on the KR TLPD, so that would further balance things) ESV and Proleague will be the wild factors, especially PL. Don't forget that the Terran statistic is gonna get skewed because of Teaja too. Minus TvT, Teaja has gone 13-6 in this June across TvP and TvZ. I wish they have the stats that count the number of mirror matches too.

The Raven is slow and easy killed, why should I buy it? Detection, PDD and terrans always have a lot of gas (when not going mech) so gas shouldn't be the problem just getting a starport with a tech lab.

Assuming any of it was correct of course. And what exactly are you hoping to see in those winrates? Blizzard has access to 20 times the amount of data we do and has issues balance changes on their basis.. If you feel that there is a problem with game balance this should be the least useful statistic to you.

June winrates apparantly, very surprised by the Korean TvZ stats considering those GSL stats that were pasted in this thread.

Someone on TL pointed out that the Korean TvZ data is flawed. The dataset doesn't include Code A qualifier and TSL qualifier. Here is the true Korean winrate: June TvZ: 58-56 GSL and GSTL TvZ: 29-32 Proleague TvZ: 3-6 Kespa Exhibition TvZ: 3-4 KSL Finals TvZ: 3-1 ESV Korean Weekly 5,6,7 TvZ: 20-13 That being said TLPD is flawed. If they counted Code A qualifiers and TSL qualifiers it would skew the winrates heavily in Zergs favor and both of those tournaments are much harder then the ESV tournament but neither is in the TLPD database. Todays OSL qualifiers won't be in the database either and those qualifiers were brutally hard. Code A qualifiers TvZ (not counting amateurs or teamless Koreans): 14-36 TSL4 KR qualifier #1 TvZ: 26-42 TSL4 KR qualifier #2 TvZ: 25-38 TSL4 KR qualifier #3 TvZ: 16-24 Would be TvZ in Korea 139 - 196. Which is 41.5% T to 58.5% Z

If you started recording winrates based on TLPD you don't get to suddenly switch results around because you don't like the results for the month.

Besides the obvious lack of game varity (I personally like all ins and cheese) all games go late and Zerg is favored late.

That because they like long games, or rather audiances seem to, and queen/ol change lends itself to that. I dont doubt they wont revert changes - but tools will have to be given to compete late for terran and mid game to protoss to survive 12 min roach max/drops with some regularity.
