Awesome patch, love it. Phoenix upgrade could be verrrry interesting.

Also the MULE on gold patches has been a long time coming.

wow, range 6 phoenix is going to be amazing. Looking at the most recent GSL PvZ I am not sure that phoenix's need the range buff. Although by forcing the fleet beacon it could allow for some more reasonable carrier transitions.

Overall the changes look good, the hit to snipe is nice for zergs, kinda removes any fast ghost tvt builds now that snipe won't 1 shot a marine.

Mule change is the smart way for blizzard to keep gold minerals while acknowledging the fact that mules on gold are OP.

Sounds good! As a Protoss player though, I feel snipe is now too powerful versus templar which are weak to begin with, while the other units it is more effective against require much less investment in research to create. Too easy of a counter compared to Terran versus the other races.

Really great patch imo, although I hope mutas are still viable in zvp. A great day with the these patch notes and the ladder map changes

Terran getting nerfed all the time. It's insane. I loved ghosts.
Guess they had too though. Great patch anyway, really enjoy to see the spam APM.

i dont get the phoenix change. phoenixes were always better against mutas if you had micro, and they could always outrange them anyways. now it'll just be a bit easier. with the ghost change zerg is gonna have such a huge advantage lategame...i'm not even sure what terran will be able to do.

Love the Snipe and Mule changes, Phoenix range should be on the Stargate not Fleet Beacon (but with a LONG build time), it's too inaccessible.

lol so bad. except the mule on the gold change bc it was just bs broken.

David kim couldnt even get shit done at DoW, as the only good changes came from internal play testing from the top players themself. Like slightly increase energy cost for snipe or w/e but its the only counter to zerg lategame but yeh mid master donkheads whined about it 24/7 even though it was only a problem at top top level with players who have 400 apm to spare.

I switched from protoss to random almost a month ago, but if this goes trough, im fairly sure that I have to switch back again.

Protoss is just after this so much better vs zerg, and terran so much worse vs zerg.


Lol at slightly nerfing snipe by halving the damage done.

SO stupid. So toss and zerg still get spellcaster that have ridiculously powerful spells that just kill an entire clump of units in one cast but blizzard is worried about SNIPE? GFG. This game is almost unplayable for me at high diamond as the micro required to be a decent terran against massive toss/zerg armies is insane and almost impossible with all the shitty lag I get on NA. I am lucky if I even get a ghost army out before Im dead vs zerg. God forbid zerg has to micro thier army away from the ghosts, or kill ghosts off before engaging. Seriously so dumb.

I don't like the snipe change at all, it's way too drastic. And looking at Genius' games I'm not sure if the phoenix buff was necessary either. If something Terran needed a buff vs toss late game.
I love the MULE and APM change though.
