anyone can figure out if its still 2 snipes for HT and 3 for zealot ? also what else does the snipe change affect (infestors? marauders?)

I think these changes are just what we need

High yield bases can be kept, Terran ghosts won't rape Zerg units, and phoenix can actually be more useful- especially against mutalisks later on!

i always felt snipe was a little bit op, and i like the change from a zerg perspective. from a protoss point of view, will ghosts be able to snipe archons, or is it still only targetable on biological units?

Cant see how the phoenix change will help, the difference the range will make seems negligible to how quickly 20-30 mutas can kill a pack of phoenix

-20 damage for snipe is a little too much. I rather they make small changes like +1 range for Phoenix than such a big change to late game TvZ. ><"

Before there was no reason to build FB until extreme late game now P has reason to build FB even if Z is going mutas so Carriers just became more viable.

As long as they reduce production time, 120 secs is about how long Blizz takes to release games.

If you have good enough micro you can easily kite the Muta flock without taking damage, with 4 range Phoenixes it isn't really possible.

I don't know about this, snipe is a really good ability vs zerg t3, maybe too good but some times it seems necessary so nerfing it to 25 damages looks too much to me

The phoenix, I have no idea about the consequences it will have

But really

MULEs now harvest the same amount of minerals on both high yield minerals and normal minerals.


Just kill high yield minerals, they will not be regretted

I don't know if it was mentioned but will snipe still be restricted to Biological units as not all Psionic units are Biological (Archons).

Pretty good change, especially for snipe, lategame broodlords vs T on maps such as Shakuras were way too weak, also I'm glad to see the good ol' APM back.

I have a little bit of concern for Terran after this patch...

Stats have shown ZvT being very balanced as of late, not sure why it's being messed with in terms of snipe. Especially since ZvT is in favor of zerg in late game already. Looks like blizz is trying to make terran focus solely on winning in early game vs zerg.

EDIT: Plus, now the ghost has two different anti-caster spells. That's completely pointless, why not just use emp? Easier to hit units plus it does splash.
I don't Micro, I FEMTO. That's 9 orders of magnitude more extreme.
