Good NA players are almost non existent so they had to pick someone with fans. Sucks though because he doesn't really deserve it

so destiny is a top NA zerg ? did i miss smth?

I do not approve of that european list. I really hate when invitationals turn a blind eye on the recent results of small, open tournaments and forget all the great players who participate in those and finish high. Seriously, there are definitely a handful of european zergs who could wipe the floor with Haypro, finished high in plenty of open tournaments recently, but are not invited. :-/

6/8 people in EU team from sweden wouldn't call it Europe then ^^ Jinro!!

cant really see idra beating sheth, he lost to often in the last time vs him
also i dont think its even sure naniwa beat 1st round enemy Sase (perhaps not best bracket na and us)

MLG had a great idea with these invitationals, only messed up the actual invites. They seem to be inviting only players that already attended previous mlg events (at least for europe - one player) that seems totally redundant to me, most of invited players are already almost guaranteed to participate in national championship event (nani,idra,kiwi,slush,sjow)... For instance haypro was in pool play for every mlg, does he really deserve another shot ? Sorry, but with this u wont bring the best players out of each region. You will have the exact same tournaments as before ! Maybe 2 new players will come out of these invitationals.

No one mentions Sase, defently think he has a shot at this. He is only been in Korea a month and he is already floating around 50-25 Korean GM. This guys micros like a beast
But yeah even as a Swede I think the EU invites are a little bit off, I dont think Jinro or Haypro should be in there. With players like Stephano, Mana, Dimaga and Nerchio not being invited it just doesnt feel right to invite the 2 mentioned above.

This going to be awesome!! But I don't know if Destiny is a top player, considering he got 3'-0'd by Grubby not so long ago, And I don't believ HayprO is in a good shape lately..
|
I should add since the brackets are up that my tips for winning each bracket will be: NA: Kiwikaki over Sheth EU: WhiteRa over Sase KR: Puma over Losira
|
NA: KiWiKaKi > Sheth (Only because I think Kiwi's been in very good form lately). EU: Thorzain > Nani (Both have been in Korea, and I'm a fan of Thorzain :3). KR: MVP > Bomber (Wasn't too sure about who could come 2nd as the bracket is rather tight, although MVP 1st simply because he's a boss).
I think SaSe has a pretty good chance aswell, been watching his stream lately .

I don't like the European invites at all. Why so many swedes?
|
Korean terrans are the best players in the world and one of them is gonna win this.
Destiny is here only becouse he got plenty fans in the US, his skill is questionable. and why InControl? strange for me..
|
Bah, Ret vs White-Ra in the first match
|
|
As much as I love Haypro I really feel that perhaps Morrow or Dimaga would probably do better in that spot.
|
Seems like they invited people that have been to mlg before, as that certainly isnt the best european line up they could of invited. I guess because many europeans havent been to mlg they have not thought of them. The only one who i think hasnt been but got invited is SaSe, and i think he will place really highly as he is playing awesome at the moment.
Inviting Haypro over dimaga or marrow or nerchio or stephano?? wtf? They are rewarding some players with invites because for there mlg apearances allready im sure.

just an fyi, after losing to sheth in that previous time idra came back from a 2-1 or 2-0 to win 3-2 in the LESF thingy that was played live not to long ago after his last time losing to sheth. So its a toss up between those 2 though imo.

prize pool is low as usual (>.>), but this seems like it'll be fun. But if some of the players from Na and Eu play in Korea, lag will be an issue.

I actually think Kiwikaki will beat either of them though. He looked so good at MLG Raleigh.
