Lets be honest, they cant put everyones favourit in the invites. 1 who knows who declined for whatever reason and 2 then we'd have a tournament that just would be to big and unamangable.
Also, Im wondering about some of these comments like "this player is just invited cause he's popular not cause he's the best". Well big whoopiedo... Is that very strange? there is few ways to measure whos better than the other person and in alot of ways its just down to the spectators personal feelings, just like the whole popular thing is. I dont think its strange at all popular players gets invited and wouldnt have it any other way.
Also maybe Im totally wrong here but if there are players out there that gives and does a bit more for the community and for e-sports then is that so wrong to invite that player to tournaments even if he might not own every korean player in the face? I dont think it is. Those are often the "popular" players and there is a reason for that. Hard work, committment etc.

Don't understand what there is to complain about this tournament, other then the fact that I'm not a huge fan of vods on twitch.tv, but whatever. Also JP is boss at commentating, enjoyed it super much alongside Artosis!

hmmm. I think there could certainly be some different names on the EU list (People I know weren't contacted) but regardless this looks to be an awesome tournament.

SC2 is far along enough to invite people based on solely results. It's a shame to see slots taken by obviously inferior players, i won't say names but it's pretty obvious. And yes no need to point out to me that some people declined invites; that doesn't somehow mean that certain people were the only choices left. People are going to criticize every invitational when this happens over and over again because there's no way that every better player declined.
I mean ffs some of those people aren't even exactly popular; well known prehaps but not popular because they keep losing every tournament they are in. The only reason they are known is preciesly because they keep getting invited in the first place.
