I really think there will be more than just what was tested on PTR.

I cant imagine Blizzard mentioning how problematic for Terran it is to put up fight against warp-in HT late game and that this is not game they want to make and than do nothing but buff Stargate which pretty much fuck up Factory route for Terran.

Man I hate that 'equal skill and economy' argument. It's a situation that can never occur - one player will always play better than the other in any given match. That makes that argument pure theorycraft; we don't know if there's a 50% chance of T winning if it's 3 base T and 3 base P that are somehow magically exactly even in economy, army and skill. It's totally untestable, and people's answers are based entirely on bias and assumptions.

Basically it's dumb and anyone using that argument does themselves a disservice.

EDIT: By the way, whoever said that HT and collosus is hard to fight because you need 2 entirely seperate tech paths to do so; god damn son. Yeah it's hard having to go down two tech paths, unlike protoss who can build colossi and HT's with the same tech pa-OH WAIT.

Pretty much every online game in the world patches around Midnight/early morning Tuesday EST so if I had to guess I'd pick then.

Blizzard will likely put up a notice for server downtime regardless.

Biased opinion is biased.

2 simple examples are HTs being terrible vs Cloaked Banshees and Colossi being terrible vs anything that flies.

The argument goes both ways, the only major difference being that Protoss is obligated to go Robo first or risk insta-loss by Banshees while the Terran is free to open however he wants with no immediate repercussions.

Ghosts aren't good vs collosi but they're amazing against every other Protoss unit in the game.

"Half their stalkers' health, take a third of their zealots' health, don't worry about forcefields, guardian shields, graviton beam (The one meching terran in the audience looks up at this point), feedback and storm at all? Meh, not really worth it."

P doesnt need to go robo first, you obviously havent heard. Learn some good FE builds.

I kind of want to punch you in the face. Yeah let me go ahead and say that my immortals are too weak because i can't use them to stop banshees, but I need the robo to get detection... whoa!
That's what your logic feels like to me.

Ghosts are great against all protoss armies, All starport units are great in general against all protoss armies. Yes I would agree that terran needs something for the late game as far as buffs go, but when you say things like ghosts and vikings aren't good against colossus, it's clear that you are just lacking in skill as a player.

Vikings/bio v.s. colossus/stalker is an awesome micro battle, if you feel like vikings aren't doing well in that fight it just strikes me that you don't have a good grasp on positional fights.

As a protoss player, I do have to mention that after the patch i am more worried about late game for terran. I think the phoenix buff was a great idea and it might give protoss another option if the terran goes for a 1 base all in with banshees/raven. With the repair change and with void rays getting stronger against cattlebruisers, it could be even more rough for terran late game.

Late game is something that i don't think terran try to play for enough though. Bio is just not as good lategame, but most terran don't try to transition out of it into more mech/air units, they just mass silly numbers of barracks.

If you're going FE, it's almost always 3 gate robo or 4 gate robo. If not you won't have enough units to survive.

3 gate expand owns 3 rax attack. But so does 2rax expand own 3 gate attack (and 4 gate if Terran is cautious or scouts well)
