Would seem the patch is starting to be rolled out to the servers. SEA is down and apparently updated to 1.2.0

1/5/11- After additional testing and feedback from the community on the PTR, we’ve identified and fixed several issues and are now targeting next week for patch 1.2. We will update this thread should there be any further delays.

We don’t have any plans to reset the ladder with the upcoming patch, but we do plan to reset it when we roll the season in a future patch. We’ll keep everyone informed as we get closer to that point.

Cool, thnx for the update. Anyway better that they test it and make sure it's perfect before release. Just wish they would get a clue and nerf Terran, or at least give some loving to Zerg!

sweet. It makes sense it will be in Jan, the time to update the game would be now but due to GSL they are going to delay it and next week I doubt any of the blizz employees will be in the office. I'm guessing we'll see the patch on Jan 2? Or the monday following.

Can't believe this. Just can't.
A good job is better than a rushed one, but they made a lot of bold statements and it's hard to believe there is any reason for this delay unless they have more changes in store that we don't know about.

I don't know why I hold Blizzard to the dates they set anymore, I really don't.
This is actually better for me since I'll have more time to spend all my saved up bonus pool after finals :D

Dunno why everyone really cares. Patch doesn't really change anything important. Chat channels and a couple balance issues, not gonna kill ya to wait a couple weeks.

That is what you can count on regarding blizz.

I think that these little and totally unimportant changes will change ZvP fundamental.
But maybe you're terran and dont care about changes which dont hit you.
Or I'm completely wrong and everything will be the same after the patch...
