you have one, its called colossus and its why im switching to toss once this patch comes through.

battlecruisers arent used after the nerf anyway, to beat them is simple, stalkers and or storm feedback

The thor change is good. While somone here took it as "One way to handle thors as P is gone", I mean, really? Prior to this the only thing not countered by HTs in some fashion were tanks. P should have no trouble handling thors.

In my opinion 6pool is the weakest cheese option available in the game. Select all your SCV and attack click the zerglings and you'll beat them. you'll still be able to get a depot up (now with more health) and throw down a barracks. Maybe it makes 6pool a bit stronger if your micro is bad, but it still suffers quite a bit.

guys lets be honest.

Void rays were doing stupid retarded dmg with full charge, and broken damage if cahrged up on rocks or some other gay shit. incredible hard to deal with at full charge (which is easy to get)

Will be intereresting to see.
WHO is this who speaks to me as though I needed his advice?

I acctually, as a Terran like the medivac change, now it would not start running in front of your role fucking army.

I just disliked the VR change. Very retarded in my opinion, especcially the flux vanes one. I believe they only did that because on noob leagues they are everywhere and not because some arguably unbalaced stuff like 3 gate-stargate push. I think that they could make the VR worse in the early game, but make them completely useless in the late game is a complete non-sense.

Wow, what a good patch. I think the hydra needs help more than the roach, but I'm really optimistic that we're getting close to balance.

i am really really liking this medivac change. rather than lowering marauder damage vs buildings (btw 8 stimmed marines and 4 stimmed marauders kill buildings at about the same rate iirc), the medivac change is a much better way to nerf the constant drops terran could so freely do. now theyre easier to pick off when over ground, harder to run away, give more time for players to react, etc. very good change

to be honest i was hoping for something to be changed with hydras too but i guess they dont want to do too much all at once with the roach buff and terran nerfs

Yeah, they definitely just removed the reaper as a viable early-game unit, but I'd have to agree with what a lot of people were saying in the SotG podcast a few weeks ago, they should just remove the unit. It's a stupid unit that from a starcraft standpoint seems out of place.

and the rpoach range upgrad emight help with the forge Fe builds. I thought it was stupid that p could defend a a retarded amount of lings with like, 1 cannon, and can outrange roaches that hit outlaying buildings. Zerg needs to make a huge amount of roach/ling just to barely defend their expansions early on, so i dont see why this shouldnt apply to the other races as well.

i guess i should like that patch as zerg but from a non biased perspective; i never had the impression VR's were an issue in any match up.

We knew about all the changes but VR so I'm not too surprised about anything else.

But wow they really nerfed the hell out of the VR. I am certainly not a fan of the unit since I don't play protoss, but that nerf seems like some crazy shit to just throw out.

Did nobody notice that VRs got a huge buff in their low energy version (vs. armored at least)? This means that they're useful before they build their charge. And yes, it means its harder to get them to their charged state, it also means that uncharged VRs are twice as strong as before.

In short, you can use them more like normal units now. You don't have to rely on the charge for them to do at least decent damage.

AWESOME PATCH


And kids stop calling it a voidray nerf its a redesign of the unit. it now does TWICE the amount of damage in the beginning and now doesnt insta kill everything is sight. It makes it less of the cheesey unit it once was and can now be used in far more situations to combat a lot of the armoed units protoss has problems with.

Rax also made the game into a coinflip cuz of Zerg FE. I heard from some korean pros that cheese is much stronger than in BW due to the macro mechanics so i think it might have been necessary. And don't ask like 2v2 isn't worth shit because i bet more people play 2v2 than 1v1 so you cant just let 2v2 turn into 6pool 7 rax fests...

i dont see how anyone but a zerg can win GSL2 seriously, no cheese for terran anymore means every game will be a macro game means zerg wins

a protoss win is not even thinkable

I fear we see more Robo and less Templar, whicha re already quite rare. Kind of sad. Thors could be really hard TvP, im curious to see how this wirkds out.
